SK Petro is fundamentally good actually. Being the largest O&G support services company in Malaysia with RM18 bilion job in hand speaks itself.
Something they lacked is only dividend distribution. I believe once they distribute dividends like Axiata, the price will skyrocket. Remember Axiata history? Everybody says Axiata is expensive at RM4-5 when they dividend is not there. See where the price now.
With Newfield oilfield is to up for sale, I wonder if SK Petro is interested to buy.

The major shareholder controls the stock price, how to buy this type of stock ? When there is some buying activities, the owner purposely depresses the price. I had monitored this stock until I give up hope. Let him play himself. I will never touch this stock until the share holding spread is big enough. It is an unfair game if you buy this stock.
I realize that too. When there is long queue for buying suddenly there are lot of selling pressure. Maybe privatization in the near future? Who knows.
SKP Res is a good stock but it won't be so good if capital appreciation is not there.

current headwinds does not give much impact to good companies. I believe there will be more to come from Tambun. The current revenue of 83 million is comparable to Mahsing in 2004. See where Mahsing now, at revenue of RM475 million in single quarter.
As long as Tambun keeps giving dividend, then price drop should not be much problem. Price will increase gradually. Hopefully 2014 budget would not give much impact to developers. Finger-crossing..
