Not as long as you already have the share. I have 100 lots sell at 0.62 because market on a down trend. Than I buy back 100 lots at 0.57. I have effectively made 0.05.

2 ways to make money. 1 way, like what we all do, buy low and sell when go up.
The other, if we see market going down, sell first than buy back at a lower price. ;)

I am afraid this stock will follow Stamford College Berhad that started making losses in 2003, broke even in 2009, could not sustain and than was de-listed in 2012.

A lot of new players have entered the market, stiff competition has caused margins to be squeezed and demand for teachers increased causing a rise in salaries and overheads.

This is could be the reason why they did not issue special dividend and retained the funds for working capital.

Risky stock to hold. Better get out now and cut your losses rather than risking loosing everything. Unless, they can come up with something spectacular real soon.

Still too early to say if new management can turn around the company. They have reduced the number of distributors. If want to increase back, not 100% will support back. Some of the shelf space has been taken up by their competitors. End of the day it's sales and profit. Just because there is a write up in a newspaper does not mean things have turned around. It is a kind of advertisement to tell people they are back. Any case, I hope things turn around for them.

Scenic, sold down about 25% of my portfolio. Completely out of TA. Partially out of many others. Will watch the Fed report before deciding to go back in or reduce portfolio further.

Strong Support at 2.66. Sold some at 2.72 and am queuing at 2.65.

Bank Negara already issued statement that rumors on reducing loan tenure to 7 years and 20% minimum down payment not true.

Any rate, given regional weakness, I am playing it safe, I have sold off my TA shares this morning.

Cut off date is the Ex-Date which was in July. I had received my Dividend via direct bank in on the 14th.

I only worried about panic selling today.....given the regional weakness.

Overall market sentiment is weak. Use this opportunity to pick up some more at a discount.

mlg123, Completely agree with you. This year earning will be flat. I am hoping for the Property Division in Seremban to start contributing significantly next financial year and the share price will soar. Just like Tiong Nam. Need to be long-term investor in GUH and will be rewarded handsomely.

With their cash reserves, I was hoping for a 0.10 per share dividend.

Hong Leong which normally gives very conservative Price Target has set a target of RM3.36 for DRB. Over 20% increase from current levels. Good luck guys.

Would have loved a higher dividend. Yield of 4.1% at current 52 week high is excellent.

Last Friday, I was queueing for additional shares at 2.65 but did not get, should just pick up at 2.70. Now I am watching, see how it moves over the next few days than may pick up some more.

I need to make a disclosure, DRB makes up a significant portion of my portfolio and I would like it to go up, up, up.....Hehehehe

By buying Proton, they have got the land at Batu 3, Shah Alam. Once DRB consolidates the manufacturing from Shah Alam to Tanjung Malim they will be able to develop the land with mix development of commercial/condo. This land has direct access to KESAS highway and will be priced. The GDV has been estimated at RM4~5 Billion. With high end development margins at around 30%, they will recoup back RM1.2~1.5 billion. Half of what they paid for Proton.

In short, Deftech contracy, sale of Uni.Asia, sale/merger of Bank Muamalat, increasing sale of Audi, Proton & Honda; increase output of assembly of VW cars at Proton etc.

With this, Buy! Buy! Buy!

If we go by the supply and demand logic, than buyers shouldn't buy so price will go lower and buy cheaper.....Hehehe.....those who feel they have made enough, they will off load. Some realized profits and stay on the sideline when see direction, will re-enter at a higher price. That's trading.

Picked up some more at 2.60. Hope it does not look back and moves upwards to Average Target Price of 3.45 ;)

NTA PER share 2.45 @ 31st March. Gross dividend yield, if same as last 2 years, 4.4%. Picked up a few more on Wednesday. Keeping my finger crossed it will go up when dividend is announced.

Buy on weakness. Lotus bleeding has slowed down. Proton sales are increasing and has captured addition market share. Will be selling stake in Bank Muamalat. Got defence contract. Audi is the best luxury German brand, all they need is to sort out their after sales in Malaysia. Politically connected.....etc

Ex dividend. Stock will go down towards +/- 1.94 than consolidate for a while before moving again.

Feel that once dividend is announced, this stock will easily close above 1.50.

I have to agree with jpleow, current management doing the right things. People who have worked (past tense) would be under the old management. I have not bought GHL shares and believe anything below 0.33 would be a good price to pick up this share. It is on my watch-list for now.

1.25 would be too low. The NTA per last quarterly statement is 1.72. On top of that sure want Goodwill. I think if she wants to sell it will be around 2.00 to entice her.
