Yup, it's quite clean deal. The offer amount, let say 900M USD, is include everything in balance sheet of AAC. Asset, cash, liability, debt... everything of AAC, bidder just pay cash 900M USD. But at this moment, not much we discuss about AAC before official announcement. Just dumb dumb hold and wait for announcement.

ya, me too.. if 900M USD for 100% stake, I will hold also. So just dumb dumb hold. Just lower down my target price to 3.20-3.30 if 900M USD. haha..

shrobin, but we should not fully believe on these news including CIMB analysis and the bid from KOTAM today. I'm still not too sure what is the intention of this news, this info not suppose to leak. About 5 weeks from now then only AA will make the final announcement on this. Now not even close the final bid, why so fast got this news?

If leaked out, who will get the benefit?
1. Is it AA? AA tell other bidders so that they can get higher offer on AAC.. erm.. Maybe.. But I personally dont think so. If yes, this should be happen during non-bidding offer progress but not now.
2. KOTAM - This company is privately-owned. Thus, they wont get any benefit if they disclose the info. Unless they wanna kill other bidder that KOTAM offer 900M also can get the deal (others may offer 1.1B USD, 1.2B USD, etc), so is not the price matter. Not likely also..
3. Let public panic and sold their share? I dont think so too. Even 900M USD for 100% stake, actually is not that bad also. 1 year ago, ringgit vs USD is just 4 RM vs 1 USD. so 1B USD x 4 / 3.34B Share = RM1.2 per share. Which is same as 900B USD x 4.4 / 3.34B Share= RM1.2 per share. I admitted that 900M USD is good enough to me but actually not that bad. So will this make public panic? Only for those dont know how to value AA will panic which is small group only. If yes, then im happy because I able to bought more at 2.82 today. Lol..

Anyway, I agreed with SharkTank. We should dumb dumb hold and wait for official announcement. Since 900M USD is minimum already, nothing to scare liao.

If 900M USD for 70% stake of AAC then it's very good deal to me. In CIMB analysts, it mentioned that AA will sell 70%-80% stake of AAC with special dividend RM1.12 per share. 900M USD = RM1.18 per share.

Aiya, if 900M for 100% stake of AAC. Have to adjust my target price for AA from RM3.50 to RM3.20

bought more at 2.82 and plan to sell this portion at 2.90.. lol.. if cannot sell then jz keep.. lol..

If you lazy to explain, you can directly show us your profit on AA (bank statement please, not your CNP v1, CNP v2, xxxxxx.

Investo/BWC, your comment "not so soon to receive dividend from AAC" is come from no where. TF told that money from AAC should receive 1-2 month after making the announcement which is around June or July. Plus dividend announcement is less important to me. The most important thing is still the value of AAC and receive money and book into AA account.

For example,
Scenario 1: If AAC sold with 0.8B USD but they announce RM1.50 as special dividend.
Scenario 2: If AAC sold with 1.5B USD but 0 dividend

Which one is better? I highly believe that Investo/BWC will choose for Scenario 1. Hahahhahahah... Laugh die me..

edkfc, Deutsche Bank is the largest German bank but always claim that AA is worth for RM1.5 per share only, do you believe it? Don't rely too much on those analyst.
I can simply adjust my valuation for AAC close to 2B.

For example:
Valuation of Existing Book = 108 x 4M USD (Revenue) x 35% (Refer to BOC PAT) x PE 9 (Refer to BOC current PE 9.3) = 1,360M USD
Valuation of Future Book = Orderbook of 133 Planes x 5M USD (Big discount from big orders+ receive aircraft faster) = 665M
Total = 1360M + 665M = 2B USD

Is 2B sound reasonable to you? Lol..
AAC should have lower PAT compare to BOC because AAC have higher debt. So 35% as PAT assumption is too high. 23%-24% as what TF told us sound reasonable and more solid.

So, I still believe that 1.3B USD for AAC is more reasonable.

My Valuation for AAC:

No of aircraft for AAC in 2017: 108
Expected Revenue / aircraft / annum: 4M USD
Profit After Tax: 23%-24% (Please refer to Youtube - 4Q2016 Analyst & Investors Earnings Briefing from TF: min 49-50).

Valuation of Existing Book = 108 x 4M USD (Revenue) x 23% x PE 9 (Refer to BOC current PE 9.3) = 894M USD
Valuation of Future Book = Orderbook of 133 Planes x 3M USD (To be more conservative, 5% discount is assume which is around 3M + receive aircraft faster) = 399M
Total = 894M + 399M= 1.293B which is close to 1.3B USD!!!!

Pay dividend or not is not the major concern. It's the price itself for AAC that matter. The only different is pay you cash (dividend) or keep the money into bank account in AA (money is still yours as shareholder, just you cant withdraw it)
