maybe management should use the volatility indicator to gauge whether Dsonic should be removed form short-selling list.

If this stock has been removed from shortselling list, the management can use the resources to focus on other things.

Then the company share buyback activities will be less frequent.

Shortselling creates unnecessary volatility that attract DISS. Prefer less or flat volatility for mid to long term holders.

Dsonic management should consider seriously to remove Dsonic from short selling list. Need to apply to Bursa.

IDSS normally sell first at higher prices in the morning.. then they press down the prices in the afternoon. So what you do... You don't buy high.. but when they press down the prices, you also follow them buy low..

The group said the contract is for the supply of the equipment, software and application for 16 units of foreigner e-gate with facial recognition system at the Malaysia-Singapore entry and exit point to the Immigration Department.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Datasonic said it won the one-year contact, which starts on Feb 15, through an open tender participated by 18 companies last October.
The group said it is required to furnish a performance bond amounting to RM348,656 to the ministry for a two-year period ending on Feb 14, 2022.
Datasonic expects the contract to contribute positively towards its future earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2020 (FY20) and thereafter, for the duration of the contract.

I have traded DSONIC since IPO. The company has found the right niche of business. More contracts on Autogates installation n maintenance at the airports are recurring income to the company. Passport contract also extended.

I met Hashim before in one of the AGM.
Hashim is Mahathir's wife elder brother, he is also one of the directors of Ajinomoto listed company besides DSONIC.
DSONIC to Hashim is just another listed company. With or Without him, business as usual.
