Macquirie continue to invest into XOX, this is a good thing. The thing I don't understand is why are they issuing it at such low price? This forces the investors to push the price down further. Pity the minority shareholders like us.

MK Land (Outperform, TP: RM0.50): Eyes 500 affordable houses in Ipoh. Property developer MK Land Holdings (MK Land) will build 500 affordable housing units in Klebang and Meru here this year, its group CEO K. Mohanachandran said. He said the single-storey affordable houses would fetch below RM300,000 per unit. “However, this will depend on how fast we can get the approval for the projects. If the approval process is fast, there will be no ‘holding cost’ that will escalate the home prices,” he said. (StarBiz)

I guess those invested in this counter are like Chai Woon Chet, Macquirie and others. Have to be patient. There are less and less willing to sell at RM0.10.

RM0.10 should be the base and is worth accumulating. It is par level. Anything lower is really a steal and should be overweight. Revenue has been growing and increasing for 9 quarters straight. They just need to manage their costs better. MVNOs are low overhead businesses unlike MNOs like Maxis, Digi and Celcom. MNOs need very heavy capital investment to build network coverage. For a market size like Malaysia, 4 MNOs is a little too crowded but still all 4 are making so much money. For MVNOs like XOX, they need to be very creative in repackaging their products to serve niche market segments. At revenue levels like what they achieved in the last two quarters, this counter should be making decent profit. There are very big and successful MVNOs like Vodafone which has presence in so many countries. Datuk Chai Woon Chet is not any ordinary businessman. They have the financial muscle to fund this company. I am sure they see things far beyond most people can see. Internet and mobile broadband is going to stay and will become a necessity for human beings like how electricity changed our lives. This is the business of the future.

I am seeing more XOX shops around. Good sign but hope it can be faster.

3 out of 5 Q2 results are better than Q1. Not very good. Lets hope the management team and make it 4 out of 6 by the next quarter. Stakes are high.

This counter is traded at such a steep discount from its book value. Any developer who wants to develop properties in Mutiara Damansara/Damansara Perdana should just buy this counter and control a majority. No need to buy land there.

Air Asia and AAX is not over valued. These two counters have very high foreign shareholdings compared to many local companies. The fact that it has high foreign shareholdings underscores the company's prospects. The set back is Ringgit is forecasted to depreciate further in the foreseeable future. If you are the foreign investor (say you are American find manager) would you hold Air Asia shares if it is foreseen that Ringgit is going to depreciate further?

Long term investors need not be worried, because Air Asia fundamentally is strong and solid. It has a good business model and is one of the most profitable low cost airlines in the world. Air Asia's branding is so good many people thought they are a foreign company. Air Asia's problem is that is debt is in USD. They need to resolve this problem for their own good as Ringgit is going downhill.

When Ringgit stabilizes, the foreign investors will come back in droves. The question is when.

What is the expectation for the Q3 2016? MK Land is sustaining quite well for the last 4 quarters avoiding going into red. Hopefully they can book better profits with the new launch.

Price already so close to the DRP price. Another 25 sen drop it will be not worth while to take DRP as you can get Maybank shares cheaper in the market. Last date of submission is 13 October. With Deutsche Bank AG crisis looming, banking stocks share prices might drop further. You have another few days to monitor.

I think the current depressed price is due to the poor financial performance for the quarter ended 31 Mar 2016. This is the worst quarterly performance of Maybank in 15 quarters. Gross profit margin was 1% lower than the corresponding quarter last year despite higher revenue, higher insurance claims ratio and almost triple provisions for loan write offs.

Very likely this is a one off thing and once its profit figure normalized, price should also normalized to 9ish. Time to accumulate and the current price will provide excellent dividend yield.

Is the drop because of interest rate announcement?

There's no reason for this share to go up. If it's up, its pure speculation. Good luck to speculators. Announcement of RM175m project clinched is not big enough for a billion ringgit company. I won't put my money in a company with deteriorating profit track record. Went in but have got out totally.

Looks like the rise is already muted. Monday will be ex dividend. Chan SainLong is probably right but I doubt it can reach 3.4 by Friday. If can reach 3.4 this Friday, my gut feeling tells me it will go higher even after ex dividend. This share should be more attractive going forward with interest rate cut. If not, its overall down trend will continue.

What is so good about this company? Despite its billion ringgit revenue for the last 9 years, its profit has been dwindling year by year. No dividend for the last 7-8 years. No wonder its shares are dropping. Based on PE, this company's share price is at historical high! More room to drop.
