The price is dictated by the market sentiment. One may think it is too high, but that's only his or her perspective. The big market sentiment will drive the particular share price higher or down.

No dividend for Q4 no big deal. They will resume it later in 2021. Just keep accumulating more share units. The share price appreciation in itself is a BIG reward.

There may be some corrections but it is still on the upward trend towards the ex date. First in 17 years, 4 to 1 bonus issue, the power is on.

Lose patience loses money. Tahan tahan. We are in this together. It is slow but overall it is going up.

I think it is not yet the GORENG mood for O&G. Many are stuck with the gloves, which do not see much upwards momentum since last month. But the glove fans are still holding on to them praying for the next big time. When more of them dump the gloves to switch counter, then we shall see bigger surge in the O&G.

3% to 5% up in Hibi is considered a healthy growth. Slow but steady.

Tan Sri is buying at least once if not twice or thrice weekly whenever the share dips. But all he does is just preventing the share price from falling further, nothing more than that. The resistance to go up has been there since the beginning of November.

Can anyone explain why so? We must not stigmatise our mindset at this junction. We must think sensibly in order to make the next move, to buy, to sell or stay.

@Stockisnotfun PBB will have lower price and higher stock liquidity after the bonus issue PERFECT as a goreng counter! Lower price will attract more retail investors, not over dependant on big funds. The share price will have higher volatility than it is now. It will take over Top Glove in the near future.

Kind reminder : all bank stocks are recovery stocks. Unlike gloves which are cyclical, a thing of the past months. That's why you see TG falling despite outstanding profits and dividend today. Investors are selling on news, switching over to bank stocks, PBB in particular today.

A bonus issue is an additional share given to existing shareholders while stock split is same share divided into two or more as per the split ratio. Bonus shares are benefited to existing shareholders while both existing shareholders and potential investors can benefit from stock split.

Actually what reward in monetary value do existing shareholders get after the bonus issue ? None right? Can someone help to enlighten please? How does the calculation go?

@Sharefisher RM6 is possible in 3 to 5 years. Because the price is lowered now, many will be interested in buying.

Just divide your cost by 5. Say your cost is RM15, it will be RM3 per share.

Bonus issue is a big reward to existing shareholders. The lowered new price (from 2 digits to1) will be more attractive to new buyers. The gap for share price appreciation will therefore be bigger. As you hold more share units, there will be more profits when a dividend is declared in the future too. VOLUME is king!
