Just ask yourself how could it get to a whopping 75% infectivity rate? If the management had the workers health in mind screening could have been done regularly to catch the bull by its horns when the infectivity was low and kept the conditions under control before arriving at the stage now. @lassy TG boss keeps on buying back own shares many times when the share price fell was an manipulative act. To TG die hard fans it shows that he is confident in the company. That he is a marvellous boss.

To the third party, it only shows he simply wants to prevent the share price from falling further, a show of no confidence. A proclaim of minimum 6% bonus in advance is another evidence.

It is interesting just to read all the comments here. No doubt, TG sees profits until end 2021.But track and trace of its share price from the past month has begun to observe upside limit. It is all about the sentiments investors hold. Vaccination requires use of gloves but gloves have been linked to Covid-19 cases NOT vaccines in the investors' mindset (those who are holding TG are excluded).

The main question to ask ourselves is: how much more upside will we see from now on? Fundamentals, facts and sentiments determine its share price.

Many are creating fear here but I say the safe entry price will be 6.00. There will surely be more problems to watch out for besides the workers issue now. Its price will face resistance at 7 and beyond, for a while to come.

Simply put, it's a big fish eats small fish world.

As long as we trade cautiously and study the stock, we should be making profits in the end. That's what we can't time the stock, we can only do our own study and decide on our own entry/exit price.

They would probably be pissed off for a while because Maybank gives out 13.5 sen dividend while none from pbb. Most would be more surprised by the net profit increase.


Public Bank leads all other banks in terms of risk management and profitability.

Dividend payout will resume.
The share value appreciation is more attractive than any other bank.

The share price should move up by closing tomorrow, 18.90 is my prediction.
