Since many are not clear, I will attempt to clarify.
1 free warrant issued for 2 mother shares.
Mother closed at 41 before Ex date.
Mother reference price on Ex date was 30.5
Exercise price of warrants is 10
Warrant price = Mother - 10

Value of 2 Mother shares at closing before Ex date = 82
Value of 2 Mother shares + 1 warrant at opening on Ex date = 82
Value of 2 Mother shares + (1 Mother - 10) at opening on Ex date = 82
Value of 3 Mother shares at opening on Ex date = 82+10 = 92
Value of Mother share at opening on Ex date = 30.5 (rounded)

When warrants are listed, reference price should be 82-30.5-30.5 = 21

In theory warrant price should be 10sen (exercise price) less than mother but normally is will be more than 10sen.
