way i see it, it will hover between 1.40 and 1.35 - hitting a possible 1.50 at most. reasoning being, when exed price will be around rm1.00.

It is very unlikely for common tocotrienol to be an ethical drug but as more research into it become intense, Hovid already at the cutting edge, derivatives from tocotrienol may be reclassified as potential ethical drug. If this happens, the rest will be history of 'I told you so'. Be that as it may, like kmohan says, this is typical investor's gem - although current fluctuation in prices are small at such affordable values. to investors, i say buy and keep. if you have the patience, buy and make small increments of profits.

How dividend is expected?

Tocotrienol is a later discovered Vitamin E derivative which is well known for protecting the cells against free radical/supply damage. If in the 70s vit E (tocopherol) was the in-thing, tocotrienol is the supplement/drug of the new millenia, By speadheading this, Hovid is one step ahead of many other pharmaceuticals - what is happening is that others also produce tocotrienol but Hovid patented its supraBio technology for better absorption. Its tocotrienol allows better absorption.

But Hovid's income also comes from the patent-cliff phenomena. Patent ends, products becomes cheaper to produce. of course, detractors will claim otherwise as seen from Hovid's slow moving share. Well if you have been trading this share since 20plus sen, going in and out when the time is ripe, I guess it is okay because you would have realised a tidy profit already. Also, this is probably not a hit and run case - and I do not deny that. You buy in, keep long and prosper when your research is impeccable and your guess spot-on. Just my two sen.

Since you have argued that it is an inflated price, maybe you can say why and how much and based on what. That will enlighten everyone - and their hard earned cash

good observations, psd57. I have also fired my analyst - no manufacturer is stupid not to be able to meet demands, however large that is. But from what I gathered, the strength of this company is the future earnings based on expiring patent-cliff products, afterwhich, the results will show. These will happen between now and 2016. Atop of that is Hovid's conservative expansion and its Tocovid Suprabio. As any local doctor and they will tell you how superior this tocotrienol product. What is interesting is that Hovid is probably the only company to have found a manufacturing process to enhance its absorption if taken orally. Now, at 40plus sen a share, you tell me if it is not undevalued
