If the OPR rates are not lowered by Bank Negara, you can expect a higher price for this. In an opening economy, only good financial sectors will charge fullsteam ahead. Look at Buffett's past 30 years investing trends. There you will find some answers to what will happen six months down the Malaysian market as the people are innoculated. Good luck.

MALAYSIA’S VACCINE OPTIONS

Malaysia’s roll-out will begin with the first of 12.7 million doses already ordered from Pfizer-BioNtech.
This will be followed by 14 million Sinovac doses, as well as 6.4 million doses from the World Health Organisation's COVAX facility and another 6.4 million from AstraZeneca/Oxford. The last one is the only government-ordered vaccine that does not use mRNA, and is single-dose.
Generex and China’s Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical have both signed distribution agreements for their parallel vaccines with Malaysian companies Bintai Kinden and MYEG, respectively. The Anhui Zhifei drug also expects to obtain halal certification. Both are currently in late-stage trials.

Dont hope too much for its involvement in Malaysia. So far, only Pharmaniaga awaiting approval for local roll-out. If Kanger is responsible, it would have said something already. As if its corporate people didnt understand the word investor relations.

Mixed development with healthcare project it has undertaken appears to be a senior living ommunity, a relatively new living concept in Malaysia with good prospects. It has happened in Australia with increased ageing population, and Japan as well as Taiwan. It will be a good thing in Malaysia considering the country marching towards high-end society and an ageing population that can spend money.

Funds are moving in, as well as smart money. If its li-Key peptide based vaccine is successful, then it will be a gamechanger for current models. Check its fund profiles and you will know what is coming for its associates worldwide (including Bintai Kinden).

LKL is not only involved in beddings for hospitals. With KKM's estimate of 5,000 cases a day next month, quarantine at home may not be viable - and I think they are also looking at hotels and other premises for help, including private hospitals. If my guess is right, private hospitals that treat covid patients will refurbish their beds once the pandemic is over because of the stigma. but let's watch and see what happens. By the way, what about LKL's glove venture to China. Any news from there yet?

GNBT hit a high of USD45 yesterday before retracing. Something is developing fast at Generex Biotech - it must be its li-peptide based vaccine. That it has attracted substantial funds is no surprise and by association, Bintai Kinden now has something - apart from the distribution of the Korean cold-trans box for vaccines - to bank on. Let's watch the take-up today. The charts look good - MA 5/20 looks promising

Pfizer vaccine needs cold trans. One other company ready to tap into this is AHealth. Now that BK is also on the bandwagon, you can bet the playing rules has just gotten interesting. Vaccine considered as well, BK must first break 0.79 resistance to head for greater days reflected by its fundamentals. Next resistance if 0.79 is broken will be 0.96

GNBT is is the rise - meaning their research into li-peptide based vaccines are drawing interest. This is the stock that one should monitor.
