This morning, FDA just released statement that the Pfizer vaccine being rolled out in UK is surprisingly more effective than earlier presumed. CNN caught the newsbreak moments ago. Until Sinopharm relieves all doubts on its vaccine, and any substantial information subsequent, it is going to be eclipsed by other news on Western vaccines. Even the UAE declaration is ineffective against what is popping up for Pfizer. As for Kanger, it is better to just focus on its bamboo business. Vaccine distribution could at best be a profitable side business, if at all it is.

Today Kanger ends its drop. With MACD crossovers, you could be looking at prices between 0.18 and 0.205. For the past three days, there have been spurts of rises only to be dragged down by selling. Reason Bintai is flying is that it is directly involved with a vaccine-maker - nevermind if the maker doesnt have anything to show or the stocks have being trashed. The gambler mentality supercedes all. That is how herd mentality works.

Once permission is given and Sinopharm is allowed to launch, it will be a new ball game. They cant announce any earlier because of this. They did mention that they are producing vaccine for the world, and Malaysia is one of the priority beneficiaries. Kanger will benefit in no small way if Sinopharm vaccine is adopted.

Forget about maternity services - KPJ has transformed itself over the last 12 months - to have a specialists section in its hospital setup, offering services including geriatric care. But main income earner this coming quarter and the next will likely be the vaccination services. Most people are betting on vaccine companies and distributors. I believe hospitals will be the place where the profits will be realised most. Clinics may not have the facilities for storage as do hospitals and since corporate companies have their own panels, ie. IHH and KPJ, and the likes, vaccination will likely to be part of the packages to be offered by these medical centres to their corporate clientele. This is not to mention tapping into regional "medical tourists" who may want to be vaccinated as well if they can afford it. Just a few sens thought
