Lowest doesn’t mean it can’t go any lower, what logic is this? If keep on making loss can’t go lower some more because it’s at its lowest? To make sound investment, one shld look at its order books, what are the committed projects to date to estimate its future income.

I think GenT Q3 to continue in red but LBT narrowed from RM1.7b to RM1.0-1.1b. Based on 70-30 assumptions on reduced local visitor with almost no foreign visitor (Compared against pre-covid) and stronger Plantation performance in Q3. Q4 to be weaker due to expiration of Moratorium which will impact GenM. Expect weaker share price post Moratorium too.

But 2bil might be possible if GenM loss matches GenS n there will be further impairment on associates overseas casino due to Covid closures. However, Genting Bhd price might be resilient as market already factor in these known factors on covid closures.

Agree, they have the bullet to average down or push the price up. Retailers can just guess based on fundamentals or feelings. I won’t be surprised if this stock makes 2bil quarter loss but the share price went the other way.

In this weird market, even airasia with bad performance also only drop by 2.5 cent. Anything is possible in this market.

Actually better performance in last 2 qtr contributed mainly by impairment of assets in Q4 last FY. Else the depreciation charge would have eat up mostly, if not all the profit. Anyway, tomorrow RM0.50?
