@nono hardi, HYR today price is partially caused by war between Russia and Ukraine. If Russia really stop the gas to Finland, the oil price will further up. So does HYR price.

Refinery is expected to be beneficited from high demand for fuel and high crack spread. I believe many have read the new about petrol shortage during Hari Raya. The high crack spread have been proved by goverment who increase the Ron97 by 37 cent this week. This has paved a way for expected excellent quarter2 result.

C22 will expire on 31 May. C25 will expire in Oct 2022. C24 will expire in Jan 2023

New Ron97 price already suggested that profit for Q2 will be super amazing. Expected HYR will be chased up.

Finally correction has started. Think back why we invest on HR in the first place. The amazing profit due to superhigh crack spread. HR is also a major beneficial party in response to high demand of fuel due to boarder reopening and relaxation of MCO. Let buy and laugh together when the quarterly result announced by month end.

I remember your post (not sure quoted from annual or quarterly report) got mentioned that HR will be great if the crack spread increase significantly. Is USd 10 considered significant. If not how about now USd 27. Hopefully current price is considered significant increase.

Question now is how soon the sanction can be lifted. Even war ended doesn't mean the aanction will be lifted immediately. In addition, there are not many new investments into refinery due to ESG issues. All these are positive for HY.

Just crack spread alone will generate amazing profit. If HR able to get Russia cgeap cryde oil, Q2 profit will be even astonished especially domestic demand also peaked in conjunction with Raya holiday and boarder reopening. If HY has signed purchasing pact with Russia before invasion of Ukraine, they might allow to continue to buy Russia crude oil based on the what China companies response. Anyway, this is just guessing. Buy the crack spread which is profit propeller is not guessing. It is really super high and might last till Russia and Ukraine reach a peaceful pact.

Even USd 10 already considered high for crack spread. Now is USd 27. Tge sanction against Russia will even push it higher. That is why I buy HR and it cw.

Boomberg, annual report indicated that 16% crude oil is from Russia. But KYY report Ron97 is RM 2++ is really a misleading. Somemore, Malaysia Ron95 and Diesel oil reamain the same is due to subsidy by government
