KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 6): Piling and foundation specialist Econpile Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM48 million contract from Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) for its 9 Seputeh mixed development project at Old Klang Road.

The contract entails piling and basement works for three residential blocks, a commercial area, and a two-storey basement car park, and represents the group's first job to be done for MRCB, said Econpile in a statement.

With this new contract, Econpile's current orderbook stands at RM1.2 billion, which is estimated to be recognised over the next two years.

"We are heartened that an established property developer the likes of MRCB has entrusted us to take on this major undertaking, which validates our technical expertise to ably support high-rise buildings," said Econpile executive director and chief executive officer Raymond Pang.

"We believe that continuously adding reputable property names in our clientele would position us favourably in reinforcing our niche in providing specialised piling services, even in the challenging property sector," Pang said.

Econpile expects the project to be completed in about 18 months and to contribute to the group in the financial year ending June 30, 2018 (FY18) and FY19.

Econpile's share price rose nine sen or 3% to close at RM3.12, valuing the group at RM1.67 billion.

（吉隆坡22日讯）因地基业务前景明亮，推动净利强劲增长，加上手持订单足够忙碌1至2年，分析员建议持续守住亿钢控股（ECONBHD，5253，主板建筑股）。

亿钢控股独资子公司Econpile（马）私人有限公司（简称EMSB）于本月15日，从Jendela Mayang私人有限公司获得地基项目工程，总值1800万令吉。

这是亿钢控股在2018财年获颁首份合约，且公司正竞标总额10亿令吉数个项目。

EMSB将会为位于吉隆坡的柏威年白沙罗高原第二期混合发展项目，提供连续钻孔灌桩建筑服务，建造连续钻孔灌注墙。

该工程为期27周，预计于明年4月完成，期间能够为截至明年6月杪的2018财年贡献盈利。

值得注意的是，亿钢控股在今年2月，也取得柏威年白沙罗高原第1期混合发展项目合约，负责提供地基服务，配套总值5亿7040万令吉。

大马投行分析员在报告中指出，尽管最新合约价值小，但这标志着柏威年白沙罗高原第二期项目一系列地基工作的开始，预计整体总价值可达约2亿令吉。

“虽然合约价值小，亿钢控股的手持订单依然维持在12亿令吉。”

今年赢11.9亿合约

分析员点出，2017财年可谓亿钢控股的丰收年，共赢得总值11.9亿令吉合约，超越2016财年的6亿6200万令吉。

因此，分析员认为，亿钢控股在2018至2020财年，料每年可获得6亿令吉合约。

分析员还说，地基领域的门槛高，因设备和机械成本高昂，且缺少富有经验的营运商。

“不过，相信亿钢控股的目前股价，已充分反映了基本面。”

综合上述，分析员维持对亿钢控股的预测、“守住”评级和目标价2.22令吉不变。

亚洲生化向交易所报备，收购价相等于每股15仙，是理论除权价的约8.37%折价。

亚洲生化表示，收购MLABS系统符合公司攫取增长前景佳的上市公司的策略。

该公司乐观看待，上述收购可在近期内提供回酬，因为MLABS系统计划发展及营销一款手机应用程式。

这款应用程式，可让数名用户一起参与语音和视频会议。同时，也能传送文字和语音通话。

In accordance with Paragraph 9.19 (35) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Main Market Listing Requirements, the Board of Directors of Seacera Group Berhad wishes to announce that there is a positive variance between the Group’s audited results for the financial year ended 31 December 2016 and unaudited results for the same period which was announced on 28 February 2017 in respect of the profits attributable to the owners of the Company of RM6,099,000 in the audited accounts as compared to RM4,505,000 as disclosed in the unaudited results. Consequently, the basic earnings per share is also varied to 2.59sen (as per audited accounts) compared to 1.91sen (as per the unaudited results).

The variance was mainly due to the non-allocation of loss of a subsidiary to the non–controlling interest in the unaudited results which resulted the under recognition of profit attributable to owners of the Company amounting to RM1,594,000.
