Negative Fuel Margin is temporary, as long as the coal price stable in the future, then it is ok. They are bidding for CGPP too, which is good to replenish their revenue from expired and going to expired IPP. But they need more big scale projects, probably from NETR then the future is bright for Malakoff.

In 1 July 2021, Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) has announced its partnership with Ericsson (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd(Ericsson) to accelerate the deployment of Malaysia’s nationwide 5G network and ecosystem. DNB has adopted an approach where the Design and Build of the National 5G Network will be undertaken by Ericsson at a total cost of RM11 billion. The Group will be one of the Ericsson’s Approved Supplier & Partner (ASP) and expects to benefit from this project.

In August 2021, one of our subsidiaries awarded by DBKL as one of the NFP panel to build the 5G Tower over the 5 years and this expects to generate a new revenue steam which in line with the implementation of 5G.

Tp 2 won't happen in near term, at least not this year. Few years down the road yes. With uncertainties due to Covid, definitely will affect their REIT business, and with this HIDE thingy, shopping malls are prone to closures. Construction and property sector still remained weak, and with construction materials, steel price is on the high side, means profit will be thinner. Healthcare medical side, when the international border open, then medical tourism will flourish.

I am still holding Sunway long term for the good prospects. But not expecting quick gain in short term.

@invest icon, no doubt is good company, but for the price to move up this fast and higher than pre-covid time, it will not happen this soon. This pandemic did hit them hard.

Support already breached. But continue to have faith in this company. Company is still in expansion mode, new office building, new satellite gateway, fiberination initiative from government, and company also recording profit every quarter even during the pandemic time last year.

Price was around 1.50 early March, and already up 15% to the highest of 1.76 recently. In fact, the price now is higher than before Covid. Does the economy already fully recovered from the pandemic? I doubt so. I am still holding on to Sunway for long term, but honestly I do not see the price moving up any much higher in near term taking into consideration of the uptrend recently. And it will require some sort of good news/catalyst to bring up the share price even higher.

@Fortheemprah, That's why I raised my doubt that day if there's is still dividend payout for the mother share since we have this preference shares. So, 1.5cents is still better than nothing.

This company is with proven track record. Recording profits every quarters and constantly distributing dividend for the past 10 years. Diversifying into gloves industry is good as well, as gloves industry is always resilient even without pandemic, but with pandemic, of coz is something bonus for them, but still MahSing main business is in property business. So if you trust their business model, then you should buy in, especially when the property sector has been continuously beaten down for the past 2 years. Their time will come, so if you position yourself now, you will be rewarded nicely.

1 day show? The same thing was mentioned when the share was at 30cents++ moving towards 40cents++. Just sharing the truth. Not holding any of this shares at the moment, but will buy in some in the future.
