Frankly speaking, BJCorp is not a conglomerate for long term investment but the values appears at the medium term now ...due to many recent developments. It will be appropriate for long term holding unless its profit is consistent as Berkshire or Cheong Kong holdings (HK)..unluckily the management made many mistakes in the pass... Silver Bird (High5) is one of it... The property investment in Vietnam is another...and the recent one is the great mall of Beijing (whc is under S&P for selling)... Robin r, Robin r, ... time for u to prove your capability now...to turn this around... you shall perform at least equally or shall be even better than Tan Sri... TIME FOR YOU TO PROVE THT NOW>.... the profit.. the future prospects, the dividen and ocoz finally at the share prices...

If the top 2 major shareholders are fighting each others... do u think the future is bright? it is badly hitted... The DIV will be affected at least for a yr and more... 10% (hope for best!)....the good div is history... i still believe it will be gradually move downwards to 1.64/1.65 level..which the prices for its announced corporate exercises for private placement... good luck la to all... ic ng123, the differences of 50 mil and 71.9 mil is due to the fluctuation of the exchange rates and also include the difference in buy and sell of foreign currency loss. I thk most of the report put it at the worst side... the USD paid is 22.2mil. You can refer to few report in this forum which is self explanatory... haha... good support yeserday... downside trends continue~~..

Establishment of Operation of Vietnam TOTO may take 1 yr from May this yr... it is under negotiation of T& C but when it was announced BJ Corp didnt jump much... surprise me.... because acquisition of 49% of Starbucks oledi making BJ Food jumping out by double and it may need capital to finance the acquisition but Toto bisnes need not much initial capital...because it can be extend gradually or by franchising.... haha... big surpise... it is not used to be Tan Sri way...

The main problem for BJCORP tht he used to privatise business esp cosway at the high evaluations but the bottom line of his profit has yet to be improved. He owned many great assets but unless he disposes off those assets with the good gain and making use of the cash for the good and quality acquistion or good dividen distributions.. If he continues to acquire those low yield business,it will be very hard to attract further institutional buying interest on it or revaluation on it.

I remembered in 2007, BJ Land used to boost its properties investment in Vietnam but it was proven tht their investment there has been failed or stagnant until today. It is easy to paint the nice pictures initially but when people found the true later, it would be bad experinece with their management on those ...

Darren, I has been a long term "investor" with BJcorp since it was called BJ Group time... I was earned and stuck bf with this BJ Corp but it still generate a good return to me over the last 10 years.. I bought LD as well in addition to his parents... over the years, I bought and sold with BJ Corp.. therefore, I dunno the actual average prices exactly.. haha... but the recently buying is btw 0.485 to 0.515.. as I mentioned bf in my comments, Tan Sri also bought most of the shares around 0.48 to 0.54... and during Euro Crisis on 2009, the lowest hit of his prices were around 0.48 to 0.52 as well... hope tht it is good guide for u..

He can partner with Sultan Johor family in BJ Asset.. In Berjaya Founders day, Sultan Selangor is also one of his honoured guests... Just cant imagine if BJCORP without Tan Sri...wht it will be look like?? Robin shall learn quickly and otherwise it will be left behind by others... because af his taking over the leadership of BJ Corp from Tan Sri, the share prices performance is only dropped.... LoL..

As far as BJCORP still holding BJauto more than 50% shares, all his profit will still reflect under the parents P&L accounts.. Perhaps BJCorp still hold 53% of BJ Auto up to date. Recent results announcement of BJ Auto..its profit is double up... haha.. Profit dilution.?.. not true at all.. Perhaps, i thk someone wanna making use of those sentimen to confuse people ..so tht he can buy at lower prices... unless..u can create another global crisis...otherwise, u cant hit it down much further... i maintain neutral stand.. tht is no profit dilution but also no "Malaysia Berkshire"... haha... Tan Sri is ths sole winner anyway! he bought back range from 0.48 to 0.54... Dato Zuraidah (0ne of BJcorp director even bought the LC at 0.27/0.28....(it means she values BJCORP at 0.56).... i thk it is at the comfort zone from 0.47 to 0.51.... unless another global crisis hitted...but even Euro Crisis only force it to this price level (around 0.48) in 2009. Tan Sri is a smart guy, u thk he will let other to accumulate BJcorp shares at the premium discount of what he has bought .. He will ensure all his investment to be materialised...even just a 100u shares.

Instead of looking at the total Debt of 10 bil, pls look at the total Asset of 21 Bils... You look at YTL corp...same also..i think its debt is more than 15 bil... But one important point is BJcorp recent disposal of assets hav gain him a cash of more than 1 bil...in just few months... perhaps, I do not agree BJ Corp is Berkhire because it has much more rooms to improve in term of the profit earning capability... Berkshire profit is more than 18 bil...USD...but BJCorp profit is non consistent.. sometimes, we have to accept the facts..and the actual situations. Otherwise, you are bluffing yourself ...not others.

Sorry for those getting trap with BJ Corp. I had ever earned and trapped with this BJ Corp before. Lucky to say tht I am still having handsome gains with him. When I was trapped during April 2012 with the issue of LD and Free Warrents, I sold them all and put my capital in others. Finally I secured back all the capital again.

I have been waiting for the best time to come back to BJ Corp... because I believe the drop since April 2012 is unreasonable and it is purely the strategies being used by the Major shareholder to force those minority selling their shares on hands.

Due to recent development of BJ Corp and its subsidiaries ie BJ Auto, BJ Food, Assets, TCM Life and many others... I notices also it drops until 0.55 to 0.455.. the price are lowest as comparing to Euro crisis.. In last qtr, it made an impairment loss of approx. 250 mil but lowest hit is 0.475 and it bounce bak to 0.515...again... base on various facts and past examples, i strongly believe it will recover soon.

Highly possible also it will declare special dividen in the coming 1 to 2 qtrs...

Also, there hav also argument tht listing of BJ Auto will dilute the profit of BJCorp which is not true because BJCORP still holding BJ Auto approx. 53% shares whc is classified as BJ Corp Subsidiaries...

As I mentioned bf, COSWAY..which saw reduction of profit substantially due to conversion of the units to Pharmacies will be completed soon in the coming qtrs..whc is easily contributing another 100mil yrly profit to BJ Corp....

PAST IS JUST AN EXPERIENCES, LEARN FROM IT.. DUN BE ANGRY TO Tan Sri because if he is greedy but so do us... we wanna to take some money from his pocket as well..

insas / inari going up because they want to raise cash. Sumatec also same; its prices jumps becoz wanna raise cash..It is same for BJ auto and BJ Food, they jump becoz BJCorp wanna raise cash!.. When Bjcorp may raise cash? surely it will jump as them... Therefore, if Bjcorp wont have cash call in the short term, it wont jumps as much. Perhaps, it will be going up reasonably due to possible special dividens distribution following disposal of assets.

BJFood prices dropped further to 1.43 to 1.45... and...in some how and one day... it jumps to 2.20..and then.. 2.80... now 3.00...
