We refer to the above articles appearing on Business Times dated 22 May 2014 and 23 May 2014 respectively and in particular, to the following paragraphs which are reproduced as follows:
“ETI TECH Corp Bhd controlled by Air Asia’s Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, is likely to be a reverse takeover (RTO) target of Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd, part of a consortium that will develop the proposed RM6.3 billion Penang undersea tunnel project”.

“..…ETI Tech will soon announce another SPNB contract worth RM35 million.”

“Zarul Ikhwan and people aligned to him have gained control of ETI Tech after taking over the 10 per cent, or 7.06 million new shares issued by the company, valued at RM7.06 million.”

In response to the above, the Board, after due enquiries with its Directors, wishes to inform that as at today -

(i) the Company is not involved in any discussion or received any proposal for a RTO corporate restructuring; and
(ii) the Company has not tendered for and is not in discussion with any party for another SPNB contract.

The Board also wishes to inform that its recent 10% private placement shares were not issued to Zarul Ikhwan and persons connected to him.

This announcement is dated 23 May 2014.
