dont think anyone will support even if glove go below precovid prices. Ppl in the comment section tunjuk belang they want MY to be strip off the title of being the world's largest glove manufacturer. berry berry nice lo. We shall witness a greater fall in Meleisha after 97 after covid subsides :) Majestic view. Revenue is meaningless if a business just keep earning back Meleisha kakilang's money, people will have to learn it the hard way, every single time.

@laughingstock worse is when the day they decide to pick on palm oil again, what other products malaysia can sell? what value does RM still able to hold? through what? Tourism? TG has the money now, they can start building new condo to accomodate now, but if your condo takes 3.5 years to hand over the keys, i supposed a 1 year MCO TG should be able to build isnt it? Something tells me you didnt pay attention to which businesses allow to run during MCO 2020. Besides that, i havent seen property owner happily renting their houses to groups of foreign labourer yet, guess every businesses that need to employ foreign workers now have to change to employ fewer locals and shrink their businesses then! SME can just close down, cut loss.

@winterwolf, yup, you can give them hotels, no need 3 months they will make it look like a normal dumpster in the eyes of rich countries. To them, its weird to buy glass and ceramic daily items, high end futuristic furniture for a temporary sleeping place and will hoard stuff, its just the way how people live, the worker rather keep the money and buy land and bungalow back home because Malaysia is still too expensive for them to live a upper middle class life. YES MALAYSIAN LIVE LIKE THAT TOO.

@laughingstock needs to take a walk around public universities' dorms, look at the accommodation. I know people like you most probably have wealthy parents to sponsor you to a private college, never seen how real middle class and below malaysians living despite that makes up at least 60% of the total population and never knew the difference between expats and foreign labourer. I dont like how the world is picking on accommodation quality built when top glove is not making the crazy profit, we spent more than a year in variety of MCO, what makes us think that it can afford 1500sqft/ 6 person with TV, air conditioning, 2 person/room when they were making a mere 9% profit before covid? Does anyone know how much a 1500sqft apartment cost? Does anyone understand what this means for the fellow malaysians who dont even know top glove? property sold out in bulk, back to 900k/850sqft apartment, all industries regardless of size forced to shrink in scale due to higher cost of operation, shrink malaysia's overall production power, forcing malaysia to give up part of their already small piece of cake either scale down or either relocate or build future new factories in other countries. Why does the self-claimed high morale human right activist dumbasses not able to see this as a concealed genocide aimed at average malaysians?

None of their ally can perform better than them.
Correction: none of their ally are allowed to perform better than them.

such situation are often seen in companies dying due to office politics. Like those controlling managers that steal their subordinates proposal and ideas and claim as theirs. Everything has to prioritise the manager etc etc. If we really need to pick one side then better avoid this sinking ship.

i dont accept Albukhary's points. when Albukhary said how many products you can see on the market belong to the other 3, you have to ask how many brands you see that you know is not from them? The question is how many brands on the market that are taking gloves produced by the same companies and we dont know about it because its confidential? Malaysia supplies over 60% of rubber glove market, Top glove alone take at least 25%, and this is before they overtook harta to be the largest nitrile glove producer. Simple maths. You look at the statistics, if topglove and supermax can achieve 300% profit growth by quoting USD100 for spotorders, what was their original price? What is harta's glove precovid price then, do you believe harta "did not raise price during covid" or do you believe "harta did not get to raise much" because precovid they are already selling at covid prices? Where did the extra profit go? Pesearch? wastage?

Back then i used to badmouth topglove for they stupid work more but sell cheap mindset (you know when you mark you products cheap prices, people judge your products as cheap stuff before they think about the possibilities of you just trying to be less of a money sucking jerk), now i understand edi. The power to adjust glove price is like an ulti skill, you have to be able starve yourself in conditions worse than than your opponent and still perform.

Also US: Outrageous tertiary education cost. Student with super high loan and companies not give shit about the loans. Your freedom to take loan, i didnt force you to work in my company.

Me: degree is a must to get a decent job in malaysia also... i took ptptn loan, but none of the companies i interviewed said they will pay the loan i took. So my human right, my employee right is even worse that the nepalese and banglas. Reality is sad. :/

They came in around what price? i give you all the lowest point (price number after split) within this 3 months la, about RM5, then it went up to RM9++, how much they still holding? and if count in the CBP issue that dip, that one lowest is about 7.50, i give another dipping, a week ago, 6.11. You ask them to profit take by selling at RM8, and continue to sell down to RM 5 Something (someone say one you all go check the comment section), IB all saint, they absorbed the loss for you all to buy. 3 months ago, people also say one off profit. now 3 months later the profit become 3 fold plus. One off or not, what has been earned is earned. Now they so much money they can do different things to expand their range of products. The old average PE might no longer apply because new capacity to generate profit will be generated using these extra money. Things change, and they change fast. You macam sot sot de, playing mother share like playing warrants. Woi Top glove name only top glove, no rules say they really only can do gloves. No rules say their have to close shop after earning this "one time profit", i do wish this 1.3b is one time profit, new round and future be more than 1.3b k, 1.5b, 2b and more :) Even if in future the price grow until the point i no money buy i also want to see these sour lemons kena geksei

gone case country la NZ, another white lotus. They are forcing 3rd world industry to stop employing 5th world countries manpower in the name of human right defense. Btw, population of Selangor alone is more than 6.5 Million. and actually, less than 5% of local malaysian earn more than their minimum wage. Their minimum wage is about 18.90 NZD per hour, which is RM 52.40 per hour, many of us earn only RM50 a day. A DAY. Our lives and time is worth 8 times lesser than them, wouldnt it make more sense for them to pay NZD$20 for one box of gloves to malaysia supplier directly so that more money can flow to the worker? why buy from ansell? why bought from another first world country that exploit us? Ansell is Australian company isnt it? they strip 50% of the profit and gave peanuts to malaysia and now malaysia have to spoon feed the foreign worker like the workers are some long lost prince from NZ? hello? not like malaysia dont want to be nice to foreign workers, we empathize with them because we also often have family members who are working like kulis in other kononnye first world countries, its more like we are not as rich as AUS and NZ that we cant do like their standard of good because what is normal wage for NZ actually LUXURIOUS here? can you imagine earning close to RM9k just by packing gloves into boxes?

btw, the small fishes got burned because one IB said Top glove TP is RM5++ but inside the report, they estimated Top glove will be earning even more profit in 2021 and 2022. This "more" is directly comparing their own estimation when they quoted RM30. Meaning their saying: "Topglove will earn more than what we estimated for RM30 for 2021 and 2022, but i think you wont read the small number so read this big font TP RM5.40 can edi, and quickly sell". Small fish never read properly panic and made themselves into ikan bilis goreng, put into plates nicely and served, other big fish smirked and quietly pakat to average down. If you one of the conman arh greedy, I wish karma find you and follow you. The amount of these people lost enough to make you poor for a few lifetime. @purebull, knew something was off. the profits they calculated to project their TP 5.40 is actually more than their projected profits for TP 30? so now the modern take for IBs to quote TP is following the "make more revenue/profit = lower TP" logic? like what the hell is going on. If they are catching those that dont read fine prints... then.. i also dont know what to say edi. tg revenue last year less than 5bn leh..profit only 430m. 2019 is a year where gloves suffered an oversupply issue, and they managed to stay at about 8% profit while still expanding and acquiring.

"The first table was by on the upgrade to TPRM30.40. The estimated revenue for 2021 and 2022 were RM12.14bn and RM7.413bn respectively. Reported profit for 2021 and 2022 were RM4.646bn and RM850m respectively.

THE DOWNGRADE REPORT projected revenue for 2021 and 2022 to RM19.058bn and RM9.023bn respectively. The expected profit for 2021 and 2022 were RM10.259bn and RM2.022bn respectively."

one common pattern of the TP given by big fishes, is that the actually will never reach the TP if new TP is not a lot higher or lower or no new TP announced at all. Whether lowest or highest, take it with a grain of salt. If got extra money, can buy and keep because like it or not During Covid this sector earned a lot of money and i suppose even if the management is some monkeys and they keep buying overpriced items also can ensure their tech growth to be higher than the total of past years' investment.

PotentialGhost yes, one day will back to normal. One day we will change to 6G phones one ma, why you bother to buy phone now? why you buy 5G phone? Dont buy. Waste of money. ASP will revise, but capacity? Capability to strangle the smaller player with their enormous production capacity and capability to revise their ASP so low that they can starve the small players or brand polishers out of the game?you know how to play this tactic? Now they 26% of whole market share, if you starve them out arh will you be able to secure 5% more? high ASP is a shortcut to raise your profit, what matter most is where your company can go so low in ASP and yet still earn similar profit, by raising your revenue. Do more work, get more business, the life cycle of companies cannot always expect "normal" to be high profit%, they should train themselves to get used to low %profit but still shocking profit. you know why harta gg-ed in this race? you know how much their %profit is pre covid arh? i give you example la, they earned almost 3 times by sell one pc of glove compare to tg selling one pc.
