csl sold their pelican shares along time ago...

just looked at their announcements on bursa and there was a sharebuy back on the 27th Feb for 100 shares, is this is joke???

I did email bursa and I got a reply from them stating that they are reviewing the matter and will take action if there was any breach in securities law.

the play has been over along time ago, to those who are still holding, I suggested you consider this as an FD, forget about it until 1.5-2 years later... I was in the same boat 2 years ago, was stuck but I just kept hold of the stock and recently sold during the run...

HC Lee, based on the 2012 annual report, the interest received is correct for the cash in hand. Do note that the interest on savings rate in China is around 0.35%, which is just about right for what they declared in their cash flow statement. What's in contention is basically bad management. Why not put the $$ in a fix deposit which will earn the company 3% per annum? With that kind of cash pile, why borrow $$ from the bank and pay 15% interest? One can only speculate. Not too concerned with the account receivables as its only 23% of the cash and bank balances. A lot of questions but no answers.

well this debate of the "fake account" has been ongoing for a while now, why we file a complaint with Bursa? When price goes up, they pretty good in issuing UMA, but when price go down, they keep quiet. Not too sure under what section one can file a complaint but as shareholders we can demand that they release who has been buying the shares, no?
