twobits .. saw your nice inner TL from green A to B :) won't u give your TP at 1600 which is also the intersection between your inner TL and the horizontal support ??

crystal .. based on waves count, twobits expects to see the wave B downleg to complete at 1580 region and moves up from here to process wave C upleg !!

vinoth .. nothing's changed since 29/9 !! still take note of the strong downward trendline when there is a breakout from the descending triangle formation which u can see from the daily chart ... price may break UP or DOWN from this triangle so watch out closely how price progresses ... i don't look at MA crosses !
p/s - plot that major TL and then the descending TL from the triangle on your daily .. so, if price rises, u have to watch out the resistance levels from these two TL !

vinoth, there is a very strong downtrend line resisting the upward movement of connect ... have a look at daily chart and connect all the high peaks from 2/7/15 onwards and u will see the trendline ! so, watch out this important line ... meantime, there is a support zone between 0.11 and 0.105 .. u have to watch out the price actions (look for candlestick reversal pattern if any) in this zone .. two possible scenarios; if support holds she may go up to retest the trendline or otherwise, dip further !

vinoth .. i am a short-term trader and thus it's not my priority to predict or study like mad whether news / events have been factored in !! if one is a trend follower / long-term investor, perhaps it's important cuz he/she needs to decide whether to liquidate all positions ...

even if it's a bullish engulfing today, does not mean the underlying trend has changed .. perhaps on shorter term basis, the rally shall continue the next day testing 4H 20ma resistance at 1640ish !!

if u are interested in daily chart, then better wait till closing to decide whether it's a bullish engulfing or not !!

vinoth .. the EW advocates look at the BIG picture and study the waves to determine the trend .. the macro gurus look at the BIG picture and study the fundamentals to determine the trend .. one day of rally is rather insignificant to what they see on bigger scheme of things rite ??

good morning yong .. great to see ya ! thanks so much for sharing those articles .. ew eh ?? i find them very hard to trade on short-term basis ... they are more suitable for trend followers who trade the higher time frame with a wider stop loss referencing to ew rules ... for swing trades or intra-day trades esp; i need clear rules to enter n exit without much ambiguities ... ps drop in more often to give us some clues which direction we shud go on a macro basis :)

dollar index close to breaking 100..an expert i trust said it will goto 120....so ringgit will drop to 5 to 1 usd ? :(

hi yfchong, take note the two candles around 30/8 and 1/9 .. some call it manipulation .. some call it a BEAR TRAP .. candle on 30/8 broke major support but the next day a bullish candle at sight :) price moving up nicely thereafter with very clear three swings so far .. when will the current 3rd swing stop ?? u have to monitor closely the price action now .. beware of double-top if she can't break 1.45 (watch out any divergence on momentum indicator as well) !! or next scenario is she breaks 1.45 and will challenge the next resistance at 1.51 to complete the 3rd swing ...
p/s - think we have to be rather careful with the recent export play due to exchange rate spike ??? hmmmm

hi bonarda, if u want to get the bigger pic, u may look at weekly which gives u a clear swing high and low !! based on weekly development, we can say it's 4th wave UNLESS peak at 21661 (wave 1) is violated based on ew rules

to fellow traders holding call for intra-day, do take note if 22400 cannot support ! if u look at the 15m chart, 20ma is strongly resisting at the moment .. if 22400 breaks, more downside (u may check on the chart the next support level .. if 22400 holds, this devil may consolidate awaiting actions from her peers perhaps !

yes evel ... confusing like hell at times !! maybe becuz we are not PRO :(:( nowadays, i try to keep things very simple for myself .. i know me ie a very methodical / structured person .. i like rules .. i like formulae .. i did very well in maths but if u ask me to write an essay or interpret more complicated stuff i DIE :(:( therefore, i hardly use EW which are too subjective and very hard to trade them based on the rules !!!

yesterday candle was a BIG spike on daily due to the T-effect .. when i draw the lower price channel i disregard this long wick and connect using the opening price of the candle !

evel .. if u look at daily, there is a double top and price has NOT been able to turnaround ie go back up above 20ma .. with this in mind, for my own interpretation, the bears are still there !! then there is still a downtrend TL on daily pressing the price .. i will definitely have this TL when i go to lower TF !! so again, it's like dingdong dingdong between the price channel and play accordingly on lower TF ..

juni .. did u wait for the candle to close ie if your ttf is 5m then must wait for the 5m to close; cannot trade an 'unfinished' candle !!

I have tried using 5 mins TF on CPO futures. I got this experience. The candles plunged. I shorted. Before I can finish covering the short, the candles went up n higher resulting in a loss of 4 ticks 4x25= $100. All this happen in less than 1 second.

with regards to evel .. what time-frame of hsi direction are u looking at ??

evel .. i took a risk on drb mummy yesterday and am starting to trail my profits now !! as price is still far away from 20ma on daily, my 1st target is at this 20ma dynamic resistance around 1.32ish ...

hi juni, oh yes i only use such low TF for hsi ! for stock trading, the lowest i use is 1H .. so, i will have two TL on my chart; one from HTF and one from LTF .. if price breaks the TL from LTF, the next i monitor is the one from HTF ! i use tradingview from investing.com .. pretty cool :) i don't know how to use cloud but i saw a trader using this very effectively and he trades emini on 5m .. for us (at least me) goes in and out umpteen times and it's like super great but for him; the moment he spots a trend first on HTF and then drill down to 5m he stacks order like no tomorrow, move stop loss step by step and trail profits till the trend comes to an end on 5m (eg divergence or price moves back up above 20ma etc etc) .. i was like 'when will i ever be one ???' :(:(:( and he said he does not give a shxx about winning rate .. he said u may have just 40/60 winrate but if each time your RR is at least 1:2 (preferably 1:3), then u will be surprised to see what it does to your account !!! hmmmmm....

hawk .. i believe u look at all the TF but your TRADING time frame ?? cuz how can daily chart be used as TTF for day-trade :( i use HTF charts to locate the important SR level / MA SR / TL !! then go down to TTF for micro structure development ... i find that 15m gives me very few signals for day-trade .. okay to be fair to 15m, previously (before the T-effect) price was trapped in a channel and so there was not 'enuf room' for price to move on 15m to day-trade !! anyways, i am looking at 1m now for more signals ... since i am a rule-based trader, i think this lower timeframe is more legit for me .. great if u cud share with me your tots :)
