If this deal is announced, investors may want to be extra cautious because GIP themselves is about to be owned by Blackrock. Blackrock is a strong Israeli supporter with massive investments in Israel and American weapon manufacturers. These weapons manufacturers supply weapons to Israel used to kill Palestinian women and children. This also means that if the Malaysian government gives the green light to this deal, it sends the signal that they are supportive of indirectly giving billions of Ringgit of profits to the Israelis to fund their killing of Palestinian women and children. I myself will protest this and the Muslims will surely erupt at this development.

The increase in selling price in first quarter 2023 vs fourth quarter 2023 was only around 6% and we have seen the effect in their record first quarter results.

samanthalee1024, no. it will be around 52-53sen. because there is some dilution from exercise of ESOS. 52-53sen assumes the RM1.7million interest per quarter remains the same in the upcoming quarters. but its likely to be a little higher because of OPR hike.

it might open hot tomorrow but i must advise to sell first then buy back later. the core profit this quarter is actually very low. the RM20million that you see is mostly contributed by one-off impairment reversal and positive tax. but also need to be aware that 4th quarter is usually a weaker quarter because of less o&g activity during monsoon season. so sell first and buy back later if you want for future quarterly profits.

scgm receiving court order next tuesday on 29 november 2022. we should get the capital repayment by 1st half of december.

just88, management's intention is to get a business and they have been approached by those in the EV and renewable energy space. this will cause the share price to shoot up way past the cash value like how jentayu sustainables did. i will not be surprised to see the share price going to RM0.80-1.00 (post payment of RM0.36 in December) when the acquisition proposal is made.

observatory, yes i actually took profit for most of my holdings at around RM4.90 and kept the rest. could have earned a little bit more if i had kept it all. and no, RM5.09 + interest accrued is not correct. it should be RM5.09 + additional RM8 million due to delay in completion + interest accrued. overall, it should not be a surprise if we get around RM0.55 in 11 months time.
