Topearn1, Bursa rules for newly listed security on first trading day , the maximum allowable trading price is " limit up price " OR "5 times of reference price " of the security ..Which ever is higher....

For example , if the closing of Scib on 15 February is 2.25...Then the reference price of Scib warrant on 16 February is 2.25-1.77=0.48 or 48 sen

5 times of reference price means .48x 5= 2.40

Limit up price is 48+30=78 sen

That means the maximum allowable trading price of Scib wa on 16 February is 2.40 instead of 78 sen..

The ex date on 22 February is to ensure every 8 shares you get 2 warrants with exercise price at 1.50 first...

Beast3, yes, after free warrant, there will another ex date for bonus at ratio 1 for 2 for both mother share and warrant ...By then exercise price of warrant will be adjusted from 1.50 to 1.0

Meaning, if you have 8 shares now .... finally you will be ended up with 12 shares and 3 warrants with exercise price of 1.0 instead of 1.50

The highest limit price of a first day trading of a "newly listed security " is the limit up price or 5 times of the reference price...Which ever is higher

Therefore under current price of scib , the warrant "will not be limit up" on coming Tuesday

It is unrealistic to assume that , warrant will trade with 30% premium, since the gearing is likely to be less than 2 , and parity ratio to be above 1.5 even though the duration of warrant is 5 years

Next round retailers should buy warrant instead of mother share

The reference price on 2 February will be adjusted to 2.37..(2.67x 2+1.77)/3=2.37...And we are expecting it to trade below 2.30 in order to account for the premium of the warrant ...Just wait and see , whether or not it happens that way....

Hitting new high again

When the mother is closing above warrant exercise price before the ex entitlement date , there will be a price adjustment on mother share price on the following trading day.....This is one of the rules prescribed by Bursa.

Yu and Me @ Kpower was ex-ed without any adjustment because its closing price before the ex date is lower than 10.0 , the warrant was out of money , because kpower warrant exercise price was fixed at 2.50

Immediately after the ex date , mother share price will be trading below reference price as market forces are trying to balance off the premium of the warrant.. or so called its time value ..

There will be a price adjustment if the mother share price closes above exercise price of 1.77 prior ex date ....If mother share closes at 1.85 before ex date , the reference price on the ex date is would be adjusted to (1.85 x 2 +1.77)/3=1.82

跟 SEM (5250) 和 Mynews(5275)比较, 三间 convenience chain stores , operational cost 都是 在 30＋% of the Revenue , 而 MRDIY 的 gross profit margin 也是最高 的(40＋%) 因此它的 net profit 是在 10% 以上，然而它的 ROE rate 也是最高的 ，50%以上 (很少见到),所以它的“赚钱能力”的“力度” 也是最强的...其实，若它不挂牌，它是不需要任何资金的注入...因为赚钱力度强，用赚到的钱来发展已经绰绰有余了！
