Today's the edge financial daily did an interview with SYF Resources Executive Director. Promise of double digit growth in 2016 & introduce continuos dividend in 2017. This counter is trailing at PE 10.46 compare to other peer/furniture stock which is enjoying PE of 14.6

Every stock has its own trend cycle. The drop in djia might because its valuation is getting more expensive than Asean market. Since the federal reserve ald confirm the raising rate forecast for 2016, some investment fund might restructure their portfolio to gain some exposure in Asean stock market, after 2015 sell off. With U.S economy improving, this will definitely boost Asean export and drive Asean economy as well. Valuecap fund is now ready for window closing activity which might start next week. However, there are certain point to consider, 1) market share in terms of service offering, can they compete with other company based on their technology or machinery output & efficiency? 2) ceo/top managememt commitment to drive/propel the company to the next level, 3) any new development or strategic planning?

Kuala Lumpur : It was a slow day for SYF Resources, but things could start changing soon for the better, as MyBursa understands that the company had an analyst and fund managers meeting yesterday.

It is understood that among the funds that attended the meeting were some of the biggest government linked funds in town. SYF already counts, Norway's Central Bank - Bank of Norges and Insas as some of its strong minority shareholders. The analyst reports should start coming in by today, and it looks like this will be the first time that SYF will be given a rated report, by the research firms.

Elsewhere, on a technical view point, RHB Research says that if SYF stays above the 55.5 sen mark, then "Traders may buy as a bullish bias could be present above this level, with a target price of 64 sen a share."

When things dont happen right away, just remember that it takes 6 months to build a rolls-royce and 13 hours to build toyota.

SYF Resources' 1Q net profit doubles on higher property development revenue

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): SYF Resources Bhd's net profit in the first quarter ended Oct 31, 2015 (1QFY15) has doubled year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM10.83 million, from RM5.15 million, mainly on higher revenue from its property development, and improved board sales and rubberwood furniture exports.

The stronger US dollar also boosted its performance, it said in its filing to Bursa Malaysia today.

SYF Resource as the underdog for export counter which yet to discovered by many investor yet. I strongly believed with today's breakout, and couple with the latest quarterly result which expect to release soon, will be a mind blowing figures.

Furthermore, SYF second manufacturing plant in Simpang Pertang is set to commence operation in January 2016. This will set for a major rerating for SYF Resources. Both revenue & profit (top&bottom line) are set to soar in 2016 as ringgit will stay weak against usd.
