I really hope marketing in Instacom/VIvacom really pays heed on when to announce positive news to bolster their share prices.

Thing is I noticed Instacom news mostly announced on Friday afternoon which is second session and just before weekend. So share prices up a lil but due to mostly negative news in weekends, back on Monday ppl forget about the positive news announce in Friday afternoon and Instacome share prices drop again. They need to learn to make announcements during or just before peak trading sessions for rise in share prices. Marketing tactic fail lah these people. :(

The reason this stock not moving much despite many good news is the volume. I think Instaco made a mistake with the free shares and warrants. Market cap is RM666.97 mil but total shares are 2.340 billion. Very very diluted and hard to move. The other counter I was playing bornoil also same, too diluted due to the free share and warrants issued compared to their market cap. I was comparing with other counters where prices moved a few cents easily, their market cap and total shares were quite reasonable. Try checking and see if this is true?

share buyback can be both good or bad, normally company buyback if got potential good news and they are certain share price will go up. Or, if share price is going down, company dont want this to happen so buyback share to convince investors that everything is alright. Right now, things are a bit suspicious, they are buying back due to KLCI going down because of China economy slump. Need to wait and see after they stop buying back, if the share go up or down. Too much selling pressure right now so better if investors find out why is this happening? if it is due to the ESOS, the employees are selling, shouldn't it be because something worrying?

liveanotherday, depends on how much profit you wanna make since you alredy tripled your profits at the moment. I dunno about others but i think this counter will spike up at least once before the month ends. After that, it depends on what news we have on new construction awards, I don't think year end profits will be that good as instaco are busy collecting all their capital and paying for upcoming construction. Maybe hold on till 2016, when there will be constant stream of news and share price might go further north?

I heard Japan is also bidding for it, they already got project in India so its just a matter of who pay more undertable to our "in charge" to get the project. relax guys, its ok to be happy but not too much. If very heavy volume returns, its gonna be hard for price to go up because huge volume sellers come back. Short term sellers just take 3-4 sen profit and then observe market. Remember that this share drop down because no news now suddenly because in the news go back up again. I see the edge also start to cover which is good thing but the news need to keep come in on weekly basis otherwise will start to drop slowly again. Someone posted here about Bornoil, I also play that share now, I see more funds from multiple banks and international fund is also in it, price is cheap now at rm0.15 meaning more units. Im keeping some in Instaco for longer term but am strongly in bornoil for now, see how it goes.

i personally think even if it drops, it wont drop all the way below 0.20 cents lah, the share will have fair value around 0.20-.22 cents and ppl will start buying again. Only unless, some political or economical bad jinx happen, then only big losses will occur. CHill, its ok to be a long time investor at times and bide your move. Im still sitting on my remainder of undisposed shares i bought at 0.33. just waiting for time, if you can't earn it by share going up, hopefully, there's dividend payout (only miracle can cause this) or bonus announced for this year end. It was overall loss actually, told you i went in second time and had to cut loss before higher drop. Anyway, I didn't entirely selloff everything just in case it does go north by luck. Just kept some back for loss covering either way it goes. An amount I bought at 0.33 cents separately myself and
can hold indefinitely. (If you want some tips, I'd say go check out SKPRES, i made some money there since it always up and down around 1.3x-1.4x. Even during the worst of KLCI drop, this counter was standing solid), Im just away from it for a while due to volume i can purchase is lesser and Im into riskier penny counters where higher profits too.

metalgearsnake i bought at 0.285 sold at 0.33. Then itchy hand go buyback at 0.31 and after see the drop to 0.26 yesterday waited till up a bit to cut loss at 0.31. Now waiting for bigger drop and then in back again. If its not too much of a loss, better to cut loss then in back again, Just see the market on Monday how it goes, then decide. If you really can hold for long time, then hold dont sell, wait till up to reasonable level before selling. Some ppl get delusional because cant believe that the stock they bought slumped, but this is just ego, you need to assess and think with head and not heart. I took quite many hard lessons to learn to accept the smaller losses for bigger gains. Hope it helps.

by the way, i called my remisser from different bank not CIMB, i was told that this share is not strong in fundamentals for now, need to wait a few more quarters and see results before other banks will start promoting. For now, my remisser said, its just trading stocks based on volume and rumors. Play at own risk.
