Kept 1,000 shares for the dividend. Tempted to sell all now because of the poor result, but I think I'll hang on... :D

My average price has increased from 2.4812 to 2.5418(incl commissions) with this addition.

Q-ed to average UP @ 3.32 in the morning, but suddenly changed my mind & withdrew. Then re-Q-ed @ 3.26 in the afternoon. Phew!!! Saved $180 and will get an extra $150 in dividends.

When I wanted to use a margin account to buy MAA @ 48.5c in 2012, the broker said that because of "PN17", the bank assigned a value of zero to the stock!!

Thankfully, I persisted by using my regular account to buy @ 49c and waited patiently for the rewards to manifest. Although I sold the low priced shares already after receiving the co's first dividend since 2007, I STILL have my higher priced shares from 2011(<80c) :)

Actually, STAR was a trading stock for me - in @ 2.61 in Nov '12, out @ 2.77 in Jan '13, in @ 2.18 in Jan '14, out @ 2.47-2.51 in Jul '14. Now in @ 2.36 in Feb '16, out ???

No regrets buying on 12 Feb even as the whole market looked very uncertain :)

Based on past pattern, I don't expect the price to keep above my 2.36 entry on 15 Feb after the dividend goes ex-, UNLESS the results are better than last years'.

I myself started buying in July '13 @ 2.62, when results were still declining,EPF was selling and only stopped buying in Feb '15, when the lowest price I got was 1.90,just as first uptick in quarterly results showed up.

Just as the overall market peaked in late Apr '15, I remember that 18,000 shares were done @ 2.05 on the day of the AGM on 23rd April.

My point is that a grossly undervalued stock can still be sold off & incur losses for those late to the party because of heavy insider/informed trading & hordes of retailers coming in due to rumours.

Poor qtr report, but balance sheet solider than EVER! Hahah!

It's a tightly held share, that's why zero volume for many days/weeks.

Dividend is a bit disappointing, but the yield based on my entry cost is still 2%. Those who buy now only get a 1.3% yield.

I believe the FY turnover is a record high, higher than 1996/1997.

OK result out. Profit up 3x Q-o-Q. Full year 50+ sen. NTA 10 sen over my cost. Div.....only 5 sen!
