I'm actually quite conservative with Supermax's valuation. TopGlove has P/E of almost 50, but to me, I target Supermax P/E at around 35-40 which is consider very safe.

Supermax P/E 35 = RM 2.75
Supermax P/E 40 = RM 3.14

Any price around P/E of 35-40 is easily obtainable, we shall see it next week!

Like I say, everyone thought Supermax hit peak weeks ago, but they don't realize Supermax is very undervalued compare to TopGlove and Harta. RM 3 next week target!

OUR TECHNICAL VIEW :

- 2.25 & 2.28 as a piled, stock will go higher if 2.33 channel break and play range 2.35-2.38 stable.

- 2.25 as support and cutloss should be at 2.18. The price will test higher today RM2.40-2.45

- Immediate new target RM2.60.

I view glove stocks as a market hedge. Like market down, we up. Market up, we up even higher!

We roll forward our valuation from CY20E to CY21E. Coupled with the earnings upgrade, our TP is raised from RM2.00 to RM2.50 based 21x CY21 EPS of 11.8 sen (at +1.5SD above 5-year historical forward mean) from 20x previously. We like Supermax because the stock is trading at an unjustified 50% discount to bigger peers’ average valuation compared to a historical discount of 30%. We highlight again that the 50% valuation discount to bigger cap peers appears conservative.
