With DAX futures now 0.51%, HSI should be able to sustain around this level.

Usually is HSI follows DAX cash market, not the other way round.

Singhisking, DAX futures 0.10% cannot sustain HSI current level, it needs to be > 0.5%, if DAX cash market opens with low gain, will see HSI retrace.

singhisking, the first 10 mins RSI (1min) shows buying power is weak, I don't think that it will go up, it is either sideways or going down now.

Acmilan, u just think that you are a banker and want to make profits form Bulls or Bears, how many points to push up or down from the current level is easier for you, then roughly you can guess what is the next move of banker. Just a guide, may not be always right as sometimes market force has bigger influence than MM's resources. Given a choice MM will prefer to devour bears rather bulls, as for the reason why, see my older comments.

RSI is for HSI Futures

Well RSI indicates the buyers are not strong enough to counter attack the selling from bankers, HSI may back down to 23000.

acmilan, the red line is yesterday closing 23013, the bue columns in the range from 22700 to 23099 are closer to the 23013, bankers will be easier to push HSI down than up to devour bulls contract in the range.

It may not be the determining factor for the market direction, just a guide.

flyingkite, since when you heard any casino losing money one? All the rules and regulations has been set for their advantage. To be fair, businessman have to make money, else MM will close shop liao.

flying, this is on paper theory but when the market force is greater than the MM, then the market force will decide the direction. MM usually will take opportunity when the volume is low or they spread some rumors to influence retail investors to go along with their direction.
