It doesn't mean MM is out, but for today, it has a short duration goes online and then offline. For futures 23098, C36 bid price based on her live price matrix is 0.27, but she is not there.

1) Issuer always sell to you at premium and buy from you at discount. This is how the issuer profit from you. Take C38 which is in the money as example, at futures 23429, the intrinsic value is 0.973 but sell at 0.985, buy at 0.965. For those not in the money ones such as C66, the intrinsic value is 0, but sell you at 0.44 and buy at 0.435. There is a time-decayed factor built in the bid/ask price matrix by issuer, say drop 0.5c each day, even if the futures is stagnant, the price will drop. This is how the issuer making money from you if you think that you can hold long like an equity, you are dead wrong.

2) HSI was up for a short while in the early morning, the last price of C38 was done in that time, after that no more people buy/sell hence it was recorded as up eventhough HSI was badly down after that.

3) You can learn from Macquarie website or google it. Newbies better stay away from index warrants.

huatx3, RSI exceeded 70 doesn't mean is is uptrend, need to check the pattern to verify also, as for how to check the pattern is by experience.

With the RSI trend confirmed to be an uptrend and SP500 futures in green, it is quite safe to get in C now.

huatx3, wait for another 15 mins, once RSI exceeded 70 means you don't have to cut loss so soon, u can cut loss with a better price later.
