The research house said that the management also shared that there were progressive discussions with Malaysian authorities to set regulations over nicotine vape products. 傳鴻海談判入股 DNeX，強化半導體領域布局


《彭博社》報導，知情人士透露，鴻海正就入股馬來西亞科技公司 Dagang Nexchange（DNeX）談判，最終目的是晶圓產能欠缺、全球晶片供應短少，鴻海集團又積極布局電動車市場，擴大 8 吋晶圓產線佈局，強化半導體供應鏈。

2021 年 2 月，鴻海曾與 DNeX 競標馬來西亞 8 吋晶圓廠 SilTerra，最終因為馬來西亞官方態度，輸給 DNeX 與北京盛世投資合作團隊，以約 6,600 萬美元收購 SilTerra。鴻海當時表示，不放棄在東南亞尋找購買晶圓廠的機會。

2 月 DNeX 成功得標後，市場傳出 DNeX 試圖提供鴻海 DNeX 少數股權，希望透過鴻海協助，幫忙 DNeX 營運晶圓製造業務。現階段入股協商仍在進行，未來不排除有破局可能。鴻海 27 日表示，不評論市場傳言。DNeX 一位代表則對《彭博社》表示，公司一直對潛在合作夥伴和投資者採開放態度，但不能評論。

 資料顯示，Silterra 的 8 吋廠產能約每月 3 萬至 4.6 萬片，全球以成熟製程為主的 8 吋廠產能欠缺下，策略面分析鴻海投資握有 SilTerra 經營權的 DNeX，SilTerra 又非中國產能，預計未來有機會協助鴻海 IC 設計產業發展，並能持續供貨鴻海 IC。

自 2020 年以來，晶片荒全球蔓延，鴻海也開始加緊腳步半導體產業佈局。近期鴻海在電動車等多產業佈局以尋找未來發展契機，同時增加晶片需求，鴻海入股 DNeX 事宜談判外，也傳出鴻海對收購記憶體大廠旺宏旗下 6 吋廠感興趣。不過對旺宏 6 吋廠感興趣的不只鴻海，還有全球電動車大廠特斯拉。由此可看出，晶片短缺期間，布局半導體供應鏈成為各科技大廠努力目標之一。
