Yes MINItrader you are right. However the difference is too small.

There will be a gaping 5% at least when the announcement happens. It's nothing to do with whether factored in or not. It will be a sentiment driven.

MINItrader, this is like talking about the top 10 riches man in Malaysia, maybe might help you understand..... The difference between. No 1 and No 10 is already sufficient to show the difference and similarly even no 9 from no 10.

So skewered in the same understanding, the top 30 is broad enough to actually be accurate but don't expect decimal point accuracy...

The top 30 index is reflective of top 30 market cap and should be accurate! Moreover look at the one which fell out ie MMC....

Look at prior to the current official announcement, the last was financial report 3 mths ago. Remember w EO is always abt communication by them. The more recent ones are the dividend announcement, the dividend close period and Nov 2 is the dividend payout, the father which is the EGM. Passerby , you must ask yourself as a typical gd investor what would you want.

So now you have the launch sentiment of their billion dollar project, they have the dividend paid to you, next? My guess is the 5 day avg to ascertain the price, if not then another dividen prior to that.....

ws yes however one should not encourage others to BUY without understanding the real situation. You can argue that he is sharing however this is irresponsible if one makes a call without knowing what exactly is happening or able to call for retreat. I can also tell you it is going up which eventually one day it will but those other days it did not will kill a investor.

Guys I suspect there will be a double gain for this situation. Ie putting this news up and then sell which I believe they are hopping to hit RM2 b4 the real news gets out and allow it to drop to the core b4 the actual new of the MGO. SC can say they dont agree but the court's rule maybe something else. Maybe even cashing in 3 time after which the court ruling will be challenge and failed. Hmm something to think abt

I do agree with Roof, when he said buy at a pre-determined price and sell at a fair price or % due and not just buying blindly. There is quite a few buying in at above 1.90 and come Monday if it plunges, I really pity them. Or maybe not as they have been warned.
