And if you read the analyst's report on the power plant, you will note that there is no mention of what is causing the delay. Why the lack of transparency? Are you so sure yourselves that there are no problems with the power plant?

It is already very clear from the latest analyst report that the company is facing problems in meeting the projected turnover and profit forecasts and yet many here choose to believe in other things. Good luck, like I said. The directors and ex-ED are still selling.

Like I said , if they cannot even meet 2014 EPS forecast and this has been reduced to 15sen, do you think they can achieve 27sen in 2015 with a depleting order book, possible losses in current projects and no real chances of securing any large projects in the balance of 2014?

The company would be fortunate if they can even meet 15sen EPS in 2015.

Remember, this stock is illiquid. When Tabung Haji starts selling (9%), then you will see the real fireworks.

Anyway, play just started - another 3 to 4 weeks to go. Who knows, may even break 60sen!!! :D:D

Of course buyback at low to support and to push the price. Insiders may have already bought most of the WAs and WBs for this new play - ie company buyback the shares, insiders benefit from the warrants.

27sen should be breached very quickly and it should consolidate around 30sen before the real play from 30sen to 40+sen.

2014F/2015F EPS is only 15sen/27sen. If 2014 also cannot meet earlier forecasted EPS (now reduced to 15sen), would you expect it to meet 27sen in 2015 when all economies are expected to turn down.

Based on revised 2014 EPS of 15sen, counter is valued only at RM 1.50 using a PE of 10.

Go check on the senior management and you will see what I mean about no political connections. It is tough enuf with so few large government projects being implemented - construction glory days are actually over.

titus - The power plant is more or less completed. The latest development is the reported problem with the quality of the coal supplied - if the quality does not meet the Indian authorities specification, the power generation licence can actually be suspended.

The news articles on Kidex are incorrect - the tender has been extended to the last week of May and 5 tenderers are still in contention.

Always ask yourself - why so much hype by the research houses on the "future prospects" of Mudajaya such as the Kidex (it is only one of five contenders), mention of "catalysts" - see johnny cash's postings etc.?

So, if the news articles and research reports are just hype, don't be the one left holding the bag.

Points to note:
1. Directors and ex-ED/MD are all selling;
2. Depleting order book;
3. Very few large government or private projects are available today and even then, there will be keen competition (low margins and high risk if the project construction is not well-managed: just wait for the quarterly report and see if it is still rosy);
4. Possible problems with the Indian power plant - the problem with the coal supply was mentioned in some news reports and todate, the company has failed to clarify this matter;
5. The company has only 30% in the Indian IPP. The Indians have controlling interest. See what happens if the Indians decide to have the cake and eat it;


As I have stated before, follow the money!!! Do you still want to invest or stay invested when insiders are selling??

kenken85 - Uncle Koon seems to think that the ex-ED/MD Ng Ying Loong owns Dataran Sentral which holds 133+million shares in Mudajaya. Do your own check, will you, to find out who actually controls Dataran Sentral.

And do you actually believe stories like ex-directors selling their shares to change cars etc., haha!!

This counter is just like Hovid. But at least now Hovid is moving.

Look at it this way - the stock is quite illiquid. That's why the volume sold by the ex-ED is slow but steady. If retailers wise up, then the selling could be ferocious. But then again, retailers will not cut loss until it is too late.

That means they know something you don't!!

rex23 - to me, yes. but can park at 34.5sen and see if daytraders liquidate later today.

madiba - Excellent info as always. The Iris news did put a damper on the price today as there are now a lot of daytraders in this counter.

To me, looks like a good opportunity to add, haha!!

Anyway, it did bounce off the lower channel trend line and off the 20dma. That's why I agree with sephi that there is strong support at 84sen.

Alexb2b - I am a EW newbie too. Only started trading Jan/Feb this year and made alot of mistakes. But overall, still ok.

So, please take my postings here as my opinion only. kuya hawk, connei etc are much more advanced in their EW skills!!!

Anyway, yesterday's KNM closing was more of a hammer, so today is also likely it will be down. Let's see if 84sen holds. If it does, then it should be a short SW4 before SW5 unfolds.

Since KNM will need its shareholders to participate in their fund raising exercise, it is unlikely to drop very much.

Alexofb2b - As I stated, have to watch KNM Mon & Tues trades to see the direction. So it just looks like SW3 comppleted and SW4 unfolded but this could be a very short correction. Sephi feels 84sen is strong support

By the way, note that the ex-ED transferred quite a lot of shares. On possible reason is that if the transferee sells the shares, this need not be declared. Just my opinion, ok!

7dma 1.92 is below 20dma 1.93 while Friday's closing price of 1.88 is below 20dma. All technical indicators pointing down. Next support is at 50dma 1.72 - short term trend is down. Trade at your own risk.

Long term investors should disregard this posting - only for traders.

4u2c - all technical indicators pointing down, 50dma at 2.73. so if it breaks below 2.73, the next support is 2.65.

If you are waiting for the results of the Kidex award, note that the tender has actually been extended to the last week of May (don't know where the news articles got their inaccurate info) and there are still 5 tenderers in contention.

Just remember - follow the money ie the directors and ex-ED are all selling. Wonder who will be left holding the bag??

Actually, I got the wave count from a wave sifu in I3. To me, whether it is W3SW3 or W5SW3, both are strong upward waves.

The waves and the technicals must be read in conjunction with the share play by the operators. For eg., last week Gadang totally breached the wave target of TP 1.62, traded at a high of 1.87 before closing at 1.81.

So, like I said earlier, if you see an uptick in price and volume this coming week, just jump on the boat!! Note that you trade at your own risk.
