The price seems relatively stable between 46 to 47 sen - unlikely that contra players will get slaughtered as a lot of buying yesterday was at 45 - 46 sen.

If the price can stabilise here, then the counter should break 50 sen next week.

Keep in mind that the TPs posted by analysts were TP1 47 sen, TP2 49.5 sen and TP3 51.5 sen which is what everybody is eyeing.

SS661M - When a counter is yet to be hot, then PE 10 is quite respectable. I f we are buying at current price, it is then a good TP. Let others catch up with us and see if it breaks 80 sen, haha!!

Haha! Someone has been accumulating the counter over the past few weeks. Agreed that there still are some stale bulls up to 47sen but these will soon be taken out.

At the moment, the share base is 163 million shares and the major shareholders control about 51% (2012 report). Others with shareholdings around 1 million shares and above account for about 10%. So, the market float is about 60million shares and rapidly decreasing - perhaps 30 to 40 million shares by now.

When the 3rd quarter results are out and the stock is on more investor's radar, I think the share price should spike.

If full year EPS is around 8sen, then 80 sen should be a fair price??!!

pzul - There seems to be some truth in what DreamM said. If there is panic selling (when the eTRS is announced), 1st support is at 19 sen.

Looks like the show is over. Unless, of course, if the major shareholders want to subscribe to the PP at RM 1.00 instead of 50 sen.

I think that the counter cannot go too high because of the private placement, otherwise the recipients will have to pay too much.

The proposal mentions a sample price of 50sen for the PP (this would be approximately the price that covers the acquisition and the associated expenses).

Any price rise now is perhaps to create a feel good mood for the Multiple Proposals. It will probably come back down to 50.0 - 55.0sen for the PP price fixing.

It is quite likely that the price will move up again after the PP as the company seems to be well run and is profitable.

Why don't you also state the time stamp on your and madiba's claim on 29 August that Mpay did not get the contract - it was well after Mpay had fallen from a high of 32.5sen ie if you sold at 30sen on the way down, then the price would have been 28 sen at the time you posted. Would retailers who bought early that day still sell at 28sen? And who told everybody on 28 August (night) that Mpay got the contract.

I'm sure you know that a lot of retailers were caught there.

Unfortunately, short term gyrations to the downside can be a killer if you are caught on the wrong end. And this can happen if the Mpay does not get the eTRS (it is after all a stepping stone for Mpay).
