吉隆坡13日讯）有传政府已批准10亿令吉的贷款给亚洲航空（AIRASIA，5099 ，主要板消费）集团，但消息传开后，财政部即时澄清，表示没有批准任何政府贷款或担保给任何航空公司。

“亚洲日经新闻”（Nikkei）报导，这笔10亿令吉的贷款将在一项政府贷款担保计划下，由一组本地银行所提供，有关贷款料将于下个月发放。该项政府担保计划旨在帮助本地公司应对新冠肺炎疫情所带来的后果。报导还引述财政部和亚航的知情者指出，上述贷款的80%将由财政部担保。

但上述消息才传开不久，财政部已立即否认。财政部发言人在简短的文告中澄清，该部门“没有批准任何政府贷款或担保给任何航空公司”。

据报导，消息人士指出，上述10亿令吉对亚航来说非常重要，以偿还短期贷款和用作营运资金。

亚航集团总执行长丹斯里东尼费南德斯今年8月时透露，集团只要能够集资20亿至25亿令吉已非常足够，目标是有足够资金支撑业务至2021年。

日本亚航（AirAsia Japan）本月初才停止营运，亚航旗下国际航班臂膀亚航长程（AAX，5238，主要板消费）也在本月6日宣布，重组高达635亿令吉的巨额债务。

东尼日前才确认，为保生存，亚航和亚航长程上周不得已裁退了约10%员工，两家公司员工总数有2万4000名。他还说，集团接下来将缩小机队规模，除了不会再购买任何新飞机，也将尽可能退还飞机给出租公司。
