maybe he selling to arbitrage against PA ? maybe he too smart for you ? maybe he selling because he already has many many million of warrants and wan to balance his holdings ? many reason he may do this. it does not mean he is negative on the company or even the warrant. unless you can read his mind maybe ? but me thinks it just sour grapes.

why because of wall st ? maybe but US money flow now go to europe because of qe so maybe that will not affect emerging markets much if at all although some em flows may also go to europe.

Thong is selling warrants and buying PA ! Looks like he oso think PA a good deal at 80 sen !
http://www.bursamalaysia.com/market/listed-companies/company-announcements/1895669
He bought 3.1 million PA in the open market same days he sold warrants.

Reits can be VERY risky. Reits were a big deal in the US in the 70's and then they went BOOM !
Bankruptcies galore.

Where is that Menara bond traded ? How liquid is it? What currency is it denominated in? Is Menara a Malaysian or Indonesian company ? What is the coupon rate and current price. All these things very visible with Insas PA but hidden somewhere nobody kenna find with this mysterious bond of yours ? Enlighten us more. Oh and is that the only one you can dig up ?
2015-03-06 14:56 | Report Abuse
tralala go back to school it *is* 10% at 80 sen. BBB is a comparable estimate as I would not be so bold as to call it AAA, Menara > 8% ? I'll check it out but it's still not as good as 10% !

Once the warrant is in the money (mother > RM1) the fireworks will begin.

Why has PA gone up from below 80 sen on Tuesday to 88 sen in 3 days ? Because it is a 'bad' investment? ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Or is it because people know VALUE when they see it ?
2015-03-06 11:37 | Report Abuse
Interest rate is NOT going up. Fed is trapped ! They raise rates and markets COLLAPSE around the world. And, no matter interest rates go up or down the yield to maturity on the PA does not change. It remains exactly the same ! So, unless you plan to sell it before maturity it makes NO FREAKING DIFFERENCE ! If you bought at 80 sen you are going to get a 50% gain over 5 years or 10% a year. I dare anyone to post here any other BBB or higher rated instrument that yields more. You can't ! They do not exist ! So much for PA being a "bad" investment. Make me wanna laugh.
2015-03-05 22:27 | Report Abuse
Yes PA can be used to convert a warrant at RM1 to a mother share with no cash outlay,
2015-03-05 22:21 | Report Abuse
Can it go to RM1.20 some day ? It already been over RM1.30 ! If I were you I would buy now because the mother, warrant and pa are all going higher. unless of course you are a short term speculator in which case maybe you should buy Sumatec at 60 sen like hamsub sandwich recommend and lose your panties ! ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

imoogi99 Insas oledi so very undervalue. should be triple the price now actually. sooner or later it will be RM3. It has to be or somebody will make offer for Insas. Even Thong cannot stop it so he has to raise market price or else.

Insas a screaming BUY ! You want growth buy mother, you want dividend buy PA, you want speculate buy warrant. All three, make money. Soon Insas full of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
2015-03-04 17:36 | Report Abuse

2015-03-04 17:33 | Report Abuse
KC dead wrong ! insas earned 1,02 sen PER SHARE ! but there is only ONE PA per 5 shares ! So every 5 shares Insas has 5.2 sen income but oni have to pay out 4 sen for PA so still 1.1 sen left to pay mother shareholders. Idiots ! How can people here be so dumb ?
2015-03-04 15:58 | Report Abuse
No but Insas PA at 80 sen is a risk free 10% return for 5 years. Show me where I can do better please.
2015-03-04 15:11 | Report Abuse
RPS float only 20% of mother share so 1.02 still easily cover PA dividend but management surely has plans for the money raised to payback far more than the PA dividend in the future. Why people always try and make things look so bad when it fact they are very good !
2015-03-04 14:41 | Report Abuse
yeah hard to grasp. people here bitch n bitch about low insas dividend so insas now give them opportunity to get best dividend anywhere and what do they do ? they bitch ! ?????????????
2015-03-04 14:27 | Report Abuse
You're right. At a purchase price of 80 sen if held to maturity It's 5% annualized for the first 4 years and then 30% annualized for the 5th year.
2015-03-04 13:39 | Report Abuse
ok maybe make it more simple for simpletons. you buy at 80 you get 4 sen a year dividend + 4 sen a year cap gain (20/5yr). That's 8 sen a year. 8 sen a year is 10% of 80 hence 10%. Of course you dun collect the 4 sen a year until you redeem after 5 years. IT's still 10% a year no matter how you slice it.
2015-03-04 13:36 | Report Abuse
You buy at 80 sen get 20 sen dividend over 5 years + 20 sen cap gain or 40 sen income over 5 years. 40 sen gain is 50% of 80 sen price paid or 10% per years. Look at it another way cost is 80 sen and after 5 years total collected is RM1.2 or 40 sen. 10% of 80 (cost) is 8 sen x 5 years is 40 sen. i.e. 10% a year. But this is ONLY if you buy PA in open market at 80 sen of course.
2015-03-04 13:11 | Report Abuse
It's 10% not 8% per annum if you buy the PA at 80 sen!
2015-03-03 13:27 | Report Abuse
no. you can not convert to cash. if you could it would be RM1 already ! you have 3 choices:
1. use the PA to convert a warrant to a mother share.
2. sell the PA in the open market.
3. hold the PA for 5 years and get 5 % a year dividend + 25% gain at the end of the 5 years (assumes you bought it in open market at 80 sen.
The PA at 80 sen is a SCREAMING BUY ! I can't see it staying here for long cause its just too DUMB !
2015-03-03 13:03 | Report Abuse
so weird. remember all those who bitch about low insas dividend of 1 sen. Well now they can get 8 sen a year and guaranteed rm1 back at end of 5 years so what do they do ? more bitching ! no pleasing some people, where else can you get 10% guaranteed return on anything for 5 years?
2015-03-03 12:37 | Report Abuse
actually is 4 sen a year x 5 or 20 sen + 20 sen capital gain for a return of 40 sen on an 80 sen investment over 5 years or 10% a year !
