Yup!!! All so confident that OSK will fly. Of late, OSK rises in the morning (giving hope); but falls in the afternoon (giving despair). The problem: WHY THE VERY SLOW APPROVALS? If it is a simple matter of "related party transaction" or "willing buyer-willing seller", why after more than three months no decisions come from the powers that be. To the investors, time is the essence. Many deals fail because of time factor. There is more that meets the eye. I don't believe that the powers that be are slow; they have to be fair and reasonable to ALL.

On 22/12/14, OSK announced that the multiple proposals had been submitted to the relevant authorities. By next Sunday, 22/3/15. three months would have lapsed and I would dare to speculate that there would be still no news on the fate of the multiple proposals. All this while, OSK is going up and down; like the baby hammock on an auto rocker.

OLH has a big say in all three companies. But I believe the relevant authorities have a bigger say. Mark my words; This is NOT a done deal. OSK (or OLH) should be fair to all; and SC and Bursa should ensure that this is so.

I do feel sorry for OSKP and PJD minority shareholders for the way OLH plays his hands in the proposed merging process of OSK/OSKP/PJD. OLH is a shrewd man and past events (concerning his attempted takeovers) had shown his shrewdness. In OSK's instance, please know that OSK minority shareholders are treated rather 'stingily'. I had in the past "kow pei, kow boo" about the way OLH treats his minority shareholders. {Low dividends, no substantial rewards from sale of OSKIB, offering of tit-bits}. So, Mr. Ooi, how in the name of Ah Huat can anyone ask a stingy man to be generous? It is a joke to us that he offers RM1.60 for PJD. It is also a joke to him if we ask for RM2.40 for PJD and RM1.40 for PJD-WC even though the statistic of PJD support the demand.

OLH (thru' OSK), through reasons of their own priced OSK at RM2 when the multiple proposals were made. Quite coincidentally days before the multiple proposals were announced, also through reasons unknown, the prices of OSKP and PJD were brought down - by whom? Many of us lost further days after the proposals. Now, looking at the movement of the shares, I would postulate that the proposals were passed. How much then would OSK rise before the proposals are put to a vote? RM3 - Fat Hopes; RM 2.50 - sweet dreams; RM2.15 - most likely. We (or rather, our blood) have been sucked.

Mr. Ooi, thank you for pointing out that in ALL cases of taking private a listed company 'vampire teeth' start to grow out. We just have to look around.
