Share prices on Bursa Malaysia continued the bullish performance yesterday with the FBM KLCI closing at a high of 1843.85 points, on follow-through buying amid foreign fund inflows.

Inter-Pacific Research Sdn Bhd head of research, Pong Teng Siew said the market saw heavy capital inflows fr foreign funds into the equity market, in buying up blue chips.

The foreign investors r coming here to cover their investments in THAILAND, which hv been affected by political uncertainties. Pong said the market also saw a continuance of "window-dressing" activities by local funds.

Pong expect the market to continue this bullish trend at least until the second week of JANUARY 2014, but feel it would be difficult to test the 1900 points level towards year-end.

Connie I dont hv HOMERIZ in my portfolio & now left only with 3 counters FIBON, HEXZA & SHL today exdate dividend its share price luckily went up closing at RM2.11 +0.03. Hopefully next week being the 2nd week of Dec would still see some trading activities & after that the 3rd & final week of Dec the mkt will be very dull n u will normally see low participation of players & trading volumes will be relatively low as fund managers will be closng their year-end portfolio & retail players will be enjoying their year-end holiday.

PENNY STOCKS SET TO HOG THE LIMELIGHT THIS WEEK

Buying momentum on penny stocks is expected to keep investors glued to Bursa Malaysia in the early part of the week, as the exchange itself may start to build a base to attempt a new record closing before the year ends.

COMMENT: However fr our observation for the past 2 days trading activities (Mon & Tues), majority of the penny stocks r still struggling to stay afloat & some unfortunate counters sank further due to relatively low trading volume. Just like a layman saying 'If the car does not hv petrol, how to climb up the hill', meaning is with low & no trading volume, the possibility of share price going up is void.

However v shall keep our fingers crossed & pray for the best that today being Wednesday (middle of the week), rotationally the penny stock counters should start moving uptrend again after having consolidated for nearly 2 weeks. GOOD LUCK

Below r the TECHNICAL CHART for our FBM KLCI by Chartist William Au.

Our FBM KLCI is currently at 1798.46 pts as of 27/11/2013. The FBM KLCI had gone thru 2 weeks of mkt correction since early November n stays consolidated up to today. As the bullish trend remains intact, v will highly see the FBM KLCI to test its historical high at 1826 POINTS in the near term. Risk will always be there in the mkt, therefore 1790 POINTS will b a very important support for the FBM KLCI. Failure to support at this level will highly risk the mkt to enter into a BIG MARKET CORRECTION just like in August 2013.

The SMALL CAPS STOCKS will still remain the main focus n favourable picks as opportunities will be there. Ever seen the Golden Cross Rally formation in SEPTEMBER 2013, the FBMSCAP has been hovers around its resistance high for a period of time. A break out fr its resistance high will spark another BULLISH RALLY on SMALL CAPS STOCKS. Keep an eye at its 15,542 POINTS as an important support that must not be violated else a BIG MARKET CORRECTION will highly occur just like in AUGUST 2013.
