Connie a target price is just a prediction for a short period of time & shall subject to changes at any moment by the trading house analysis. Their prediction is that the share price will either rise or drop as per their target price. A target price does not truly reflect the true value of the stock.

They did not analyse & evaluate the true value of the stock measured in terms of intrinsic value or fair value of the stock.

As per Mr kcchongnz's valuation on FIBON the fair value is at 0.76 per share.

Yes tqvm inwest88 presently I've only 3 counters FIBON, HEXZA & SHL all strong FA undervalued stocks & might sell on strength due to the weak mkt enviroment normally during the year-end. After that I might re-enter the mkt again to select value stocks that had consolidated to ensure that I will not miss the January effect rally.

Jvei the final decision is yours whether u want to buy before or after dividend exdate. Every investors hv his or her own investment strategy. For me, the fundamental value of the stock is most important, when picking stock. I will normally take position b4 exdate when I feel that the price has already consolidated n consider cheap to accumulate n will look forward for more returns in the near future.

SHL a strong FA stock today has release its excellent quarterly report on consolidated results for the financial period ended 30/9/2013.

3) EPS 6.01 sen / 3.55 sen

It has declared a dividend of 7.0 sen per share less income tax of 25% ex-date on 6/12/2013.

Earlier this year SHL has distributed its dividend of 12.0 sen per share less income tax of 25% on ex-date 13/9/2013.

It is a highly recommended stock for value investor for longterm position. Past history has shown that SHL could withstand & managed to survived during the two major financial crisis in 1997/1998 & 2008/2009, n the bursting of the dotcom bubble in year 2000.

The Co has been growing year by year with a healthy balance sheet, abundant surplus cash, huge liquid assets, no borrowings & has been making profits for the past 18 years & distributing yearly attractive dividend yields even during the major financial crisis. TQ

My midterm is very subjective. For eg if the penny stock is up by btw 5 to 8 sen on that day itself I will sell to protect my profit n after that if it consolidate btw 5 sen to 8 sen after a few days I will take position again. However If the price does not rise so much n always hanging in between than my midterm shall be btw 1 to 3 months. Good luck.

Par Value : 0.50 Dividend Entitlement : 10%

First & final dividend of 8% less 25% tax = 4.0 sen minus 1.0 sen = 3.0 sen

Plus 2% tax exempt = 1.0 sen.

Therefore total dividend is 4.0 sen per share.

Inwest I just cut short n concluded that the net dividend entitlement for HEXZA is 4.0 sen per share which is accurate.

jennylee1382 I couldnt confirm at what price I will take position again becos like today everyone expect the penny stocks to rise due to the favourable mkt sentiment & having consolidated for 2 days, but instead majority of the penny stocks were still bleeding. However HEXZA still strong & stable despite the bear onslaught standing firmly to closed unchanged at 0.79.

I'm still monitoring to accumulate WILLOW at any moment if my senses trigger me that the reversal of price uptrend is sighted with buyers outnumbering the sellers. So my apology for not being able to confirm at what price I will take position again for WILLOW. Good luck.

The FBM KLCI is expected to trend higher this week, on the back of dovish comments fr US Fed Res chair designate Janet Yallen as well as better than expected 3Q GDP data in Malaysia.

The local mkt is expected to hv a positive tone this week, ending its three weeks correction (2.1% since Oct 24th)n gradually trend higher on accommodative stand of Fed Res, positive regional performance, stronger commodities price, stable ringgit & bullish speculative accumulation ahead of the Chinese New Year.

Inwest88 u r absolutely right.. The price increase of at least 1% is generally referring to big cap stock. However, for a penny stock the price increase shld be between 5% to 15% & percentage application is subjective in relation to the value of the penny stock. In conclusion, when v saw huge volumes accompany by price increase of 3 sen to 5 sen, it indicates the reversal of bearish to bullish momentum soon. TQ

At the moment the overall mkt sentiment looks pretty good & tomorrow our FBM KLCI index should be blinking green green green until closing, hopefully with huge volumes for the lower liners & penny stocks.

Technically HEAVY VOLUME WITH RISING PRICE is an indication of a healthy sign in the mkt. It tells us that there is a lot of trading activities going on & buyers r outnumbering sellers. When volume of a particular stock is heavier than yesterday's volume, & accompanied by a price increase of at least 1%, it may be signalling a trend reversal fr bearish to bullish soon.

IIoydlim I might consider accumulating WILLOW again on weaknesses, maybe at a lower price if it violates its nxt critical support level & at what price is unpredictable at this moment. However l'll be monitoring its share price movement waiting for opportunity b4 taking position. Good luck

Tqvm Zvictor Cmh > Maybe I'm just lucky that after having disposed the stock it starts to consolidate due to weak mkt sentiment. I believe that no one can be so smart to sell at the highest & to buy at the lowest price.

Instead v must be well discipline in our trading, to sell when the price reached our target, to buy when the price has dropped to our anticipated price & v must always hv a cut-loss policy if the critical support level is violated.

As long as at the end of the day v r still on the plus sign & make some profit instead of losses, v will be contented, happy & success in our discipline trading policy.

This is the time to relax, refresh & energise our mind after a hectic & challenging week in the stock market.

On Friday closing it is good to see the US DJIA index hitting record high closing at 15,961.70 +85.48 points instead of closing in RED.

It will provide investors with confidence & opportunity to participate & support the equity mkt. Our FBM KLCI after having consolidated for 2 days last week is expected to continue its bullish momentum with selected lower liners & penny stocks rising again to recoup its lossses.

HV AN ENJOYABLE WEEKEND & A PROFITABLE WEEK AHEAD. TQ

The unfavourable mkt sentiment for the week resulting in healthy mkt consolidation process saw rampant profit taking activities due to panic & fear factor.

The main casualties were the lower liners & penny stocks seeing their share prices being hammered down & incurring huge lossses.

However, the stock that stands above the crowd is HEXZA for being able to withstand the turbulence & bearish onslaught by incurring only just a small lossse to closed firmly at 0.79 for the week, as compared to other penny stocks which suffered heavy lossses.

I strongly believe that if the bullish mkt prevail, HEXZA will show his strength to break n cross the resistance & 52 weeks high of 0.845 & will continue to rise further to create record high of 0.92.

Today our KLCI index closing showing green but unfortunately most of the lower liners & penny stocks suffered minor lossses as compared to the blood shed that occurs on 12/11 Tues & 13/11 Wed.

However, most importantly today our KLCI index must rise to maintain its strength to enable the bullish momentum to continue & move forward for next week mkt; instead of further consolidation which might break its support level sliding further downwards thereby creating an unpleasant bearish mkt sentiment.
