The RM-US$ weekly chart shows the likely start of a medium-term uptrend of
the US$ against the ringgit. The currency is above the 40-week SMA and also
overcame its major resistance trendline. We expect the ringgit to challenge the
last RM4.48 high over the next few months.

Weak ringgit still a boon
The ringgit has persistently remained above RM4/US$ for the past month. Our sensitivity
analysis suggests that every 1% appreciation in the US$ will boost FY17 EPS by 7%.
