invest88, I was like you before and still am but only lately starting to pay some attention to it as a guide only. TA summaries all the factors already known at that point in time but at times of euphoria one should resorted back to commonsense to redraw one's positions, as some important info or the Big Boy's action is hitting that stock.
Only have to look at some of the recent and particularly trending stocks in the recent quarter's stock run. to see ahead as indicated by their Stochastic crossover, MACD and rising MFI/RSI. I learn to appreciate Guppy's GMMA after reading it (applicable for trending stocks only).
I hope to be able to follow this new insight and profit from it. May you also in your own ways make better and better progress/profits in the days ahead and the same also to all our fellow comrades.

Insas closed at all time high. Last time it spiked up to 1.045 on 23/02/2007.
We do not have Mr C here
Using TA as our guide.
Based on resistance chart
P1 = 1.05
P2 = 1.08
Based on flag breakout on 22/11 from close of previous day close at .88
P = 1.2
Just keep adjusting upwards your trailing stops. Adjustment ONLY ONE WAY and cut when the last TS is triggered. If the back-draghut is swift cut the moment it is triggered. Else wait for close of the day b4 decision.

Best of luck in maximing your profit.

Ayam Tua
Sorry, was in a hurry.
Many of the advices from a number of good people were given with good intentions but unfortunately READ AS MALICES.

To protect fellow forumners, especially the new bees, veterans like OTB had advised against chasing the euphoria and later followed by Mick when you (Ayum Tua) was still over the moon. They have their fill and it would be extremely naive to accuse their good intentions as malice for self-gain. They are relatively fries in the Mr Market's Place. (Sorry gentlemen not meant to insult but only to highligt the the issue in hand) They are season players and they don't need to resort to hitting you under the belt; that would be insulting.

What about our great promoter? He treats PMC as his very own baby and nobody is allowed to critise his baby - mention things like nose slightly flat, or too sharp, eyes a little small .... and you will get wagged... Would you like to be a neighbour to such? Keep it to yourself. His over-protectiveness and also going to the neighbours and doing the exactly the same to their pets have attracted people like ANZ, JCool and others over to wag mercilessly which you witness today. Is this double standard?

He would have done an extremely fantactic job/service if he have been COOL and look at the positive aspects of what is being said instead of being blinded by own sensitivities and suspisions.

Maybe have forgotten Newton's other law: Actions & Reactions are Equal and Opposite. This is why so much fight in this forum.

Greatness starts with humility. Bite the bullet and show your true mettle. Don't disappoint us.

Ayam Tua and fellow fans/admires join hands and speak the truth and don't deluge him by only pointing out only the good things. Otherwise, it is hipochricy and is cheating him. Sorry,sound like a preacher; no offence intended.

Ayam Tua except for a few guys from another forum who were infuriated, most of us here are not disputing the value of PMC/MUI. Price has it's own time and place for each one of us. Even for Calvin the current value is >$1 currently and $10 some years later.
But this point in time the actual today which you and I can easily buy is 26.5sen and we know the value is worth more and very much more for Calvin because of his insight.

It is wrong to frightened others into selling and similarly the other way round. Some of the poor guys bought at 35 and more due to the encouragement given. Now these new bees are suffering the consequence. What say you. Do you have a part in this....

NO DOUBT IN THE END IT THE CONSEQUENCE OF YOUR OWN ACTION. WIN OR LOSS.

Am going off now. 5pm

Understand & it's next target price objective is 1.10 based on FP projection of 25sen as today high volume and new flag formed.

The other paragraph implies to ignore the hot issue going on here on the same old thing. When the price and sentiment is right will be back for more action, not talk.

Trying to be subtle & make it short as not welcome to discuss other subjects.

S2 = 22
S3 = 18
From current CNX chart ploted after market closed. Looks familar ... a tribute to Mr ....

Vested interested parties should see the positive side and appreciate that there are so many suppoters ready to protect the prices at every stage; rather than to condemn. We hope that it did not fall to those levels but if it do happen it is Mr Market at play, etc..

Calvin as you said b4 that shareholders should do their small part. So I will be giving you a missed call sometime tomorrow so that you can link thru viber or similar for me to send/show you some photos on the great demand for cocolates in the Middle-East to encourage the management to consider putting some efforts in promoting Tango & Tudor in this region.
I can only find Tudor & Tango in small supermarks but none in the big ones like Carr4, Geant and Lulu.
If you don't mind, can pass you one of the strong brand here: Jewells and Galaxy for you and the management to see and taste and note their quality. They are expensive but still very saleable here. You can find them in all their airports. I will be in Singapore during the coming lunar new year and putting up at Woodlands.
You can only find them in a shop in Suntec City (Singapore) I have been told.
DON"T be defensive or ofended, we should copy/take what is better from the competition.
The price of Tango is very cheap compared Jewell here about 3 to 1. Yet, the sale is in their favour. A box of assocerted of 900gm cost BD8 = S$ 3.3x8.
My sister only wants these chocolates whenever I make a trip home. So be open to make PMC strong.

They do have a basis for this as the company have so much locked-up value/assets and the price of 20+ sens is really cheap don't you think. But for the realist there is value only if the assets are being unlocked and that is what shareholders want to see.

I think this is what Calvin is trying to stress ...... that the management is going to or already doing. He gets upset when he sees some people doing the otherwise.

As I said when the signs are obvious don't ignore the opportunity should present itself. If there is money in the street no harm picking it up.

You are right about the issue of cash reduction; it is same as into one pocket and out thru' another. There's is no value and waste of time and energy in such exercise. Sorry I always use the word energy.

In a naïve way, I presume that they see the company as a money tree. Return the excess money received in-hand and await the sale of other dormant properties, matured shares and under performing assets and then again receive of excess cash. This is the type I feeling I get here. Honestly, I do not go thru' details on all the discussion taken... Sorry, I am a macro-person not a detail man. It is not a matter of life and death to me so I trust people generally. In the market, I use TA to feel my way and use fundamentals for firmer commitment, if available. This may be my weakness.
No offence, please to anyone who you happen to read this.

Mick. Am watching Willow, Weida, Hexza beside others, while staying in the boat. Still have some 100k MR in trust accounts waiting for right action and target. I keep MR in both trust accounts in iOCBC (instant/fast execution) and POL (relatively slow in execution). No need to waste time in/out, everything in electronics. All my bills by GIRO. Don't even need to look at my monthly bank statement as I believe in the banks in SG and MY.

Willow my most likely candidate. Weida maybe acting like Myeg that's is my gut feel.....

Today, added 30k shares of MUI. Can make some coffee money in short term and as advised some solid money in LT. Am game in either position. No harm. Please don't say anything on this....also have already re-covered my early cut-loss using the same vehicle... haha.

Can consider committing a certain sum of money here and built up the stakes gradually using market conditions without having to add new money. You know what I mean and also when you see all the signs of summer is coming, then throw all you have.... For me, stay streetwise. The Cantonese call seng-mok

Thanks Mike. Only made less (only a about 4k instead of 10+) this is an unexpected result based on my logical thinking. Others' hope have enriched me. I rushed to get out at 26.5, 45k mother shares (20k from my entitlement and 45k from excess application) I want to get out 1st thing in the morning at 30 but blocked as it is a desingnated stock and in Singapore had to sell thru' the security firm who also needed confirmation that the new stocks had been deposited into my account. By the time they got clearance it dropped to 26.5 Sold my 11k WB next day at 20.5 and it ended end of day 25.
This counter is really very good for nimble trading and I don't usually waste my time and energy getting into unnecessary ...... Lately, I have sort of practically abandoned trading in SES and now more on KLSE.
I wrote because cannot tahan (not just me)... and really felt exhausted after writing the 1st response this morning (Bahrain time).
Mike it is good to contribute and do continue to do so but ignore negative responses and try to language your advice so others do not feel affronted and take it as negative.
Am sure you have your own next entry price for PMC and should it ever reach you will be in the same boat again.... you have only reached your 1st destination and maybe waiting the next trip on boat PMC haha.. In the share market no one is barred from taking a trip.. Please don't affronted if I said something unpleasant.

If I am in your position on holidays, I will not feel free to participate so freely in the form as my other-half would not like it. Not that I am afraid of her but it is only right to spend time and shower attention to your love ones during this time. Wish you best of everything and have a pleasant trip and gather some fond memories.

Hope is the propulsion that drives the price at any one time way above it's intrinsic value and well before it's time. For instance, you are looking to those who to see the same hope that you see to help propel Hexza and Homeriz price up. Isn't that it?

What ever measures be it Graham net net or others. The systems are designed/defined to measure certain performances/characteristics of the company and if they comply then they become what is called GNN counters or other system. The defined counter do not guarantee past performance. It is the current management's performance that we hope will continue to adapt to perform well under existing and unpredictable market/economic/political conditions and trends .... to bring about fruition.

My friend, the value everything here (in the Market) is hope "more or less". We hope and believe that the current management and executives of the respective companies CONTINUE TO ACT AND PERFORM AND EVEN DO BETTER TO DRIVE VALUE AHEAD. This is hope or what you may define ... look over your earlier action on PMC..

No complain on SUMATEC, the price rise have benefitted me a couple of times even though I advised on the danger of expecting price rise which is a disservice to myself as I had positions at that time. In fact, I made a couple of k. Had I see otherwise, I would have made a 2 times more in the same position/ status quo.

One good example on Perceived Hope Value and a good candidate for trading is SUMATEC. A totally different animal from PMC
You can make big and loose big ALSO because of the fluctuation in the value of Perceived Hope on the OIL & GAS and one Mr. HS (politics)

For a logical person like me, it is very difficult to see it's significant price rise and value because it is all based on HOPE.

Stock

Dear all, it is disheartening to read much ...............
It all started with a basic trading strategy buy low sell high. Be it PMC or any other counter.

Calvin has SINCERE AND good intension for ALL OF us here to invest in what he sees as a good and solid company that will enrich those who invest in it with lots of money down the road. However, for some the time taken to achieve this is relatively long, etc. whatever the reason.

Many others are either trading or short term investor. They see value as the sum total of price and time to take. Unlike warrants TIME VALUE for mother stock to take to increase its intrinsic vale is negative. So the longer it takes to achieve real tangible results the lower will be the price at the point in time under consideration. Isn't this logical. So people in this category who though agree sincerely of its POTENTIAL FUTURE may have hope to make $$ elsewhere or sell this stock when it achieved its perceived current value (be it 35 or 42 sen as we have seen) moved on AND WILL COME BACK LATER.

Note: Traders and investors all buy on PERCEIVED HOPE.

Don't look at the other party as the many names calling. Consider them as supporters instead in their own rights. Should the price fall to the next support level for whatever reason and Mr. Market's temperament is like the weather, unpredictable; our friends will be there with their money to support the price when we have no more to spare. Let us look at them positively. Everyone perceive VALUE differently; including our own siblings and children.

I give my case as an example.
On Calvin's recommendation, I took a position as a start with 20k in PMC and MUI at 21.5 & 21 respectively on the day I told him I will go for it. Took partial profit at 33.5 after breaking thru' 30 at high volume with the intension to buy back and more during correction and keeping the others for 42 or more by using trailing stops. When prices continue to fall further after it new high I took profit for MUI at 23 also knowing that it will follow suit (I don't need to tell others of my action as it is my own discretion and decision and also not to panic others or get blamed later should the price continue to surge ahead). I bought back 40k PMC at 32.75 but had cut all 50k after it hit my SL price (Lost 1.7k due to catching a falling knife).
Currently, am still holding 20k in PMC and back again with 50k in MUI at current support price. Am still waiting on the sideline to collect more of PMC & MUI but at MY right price. The price and time is at the BUYER'S discretion.

Since there are so many quotations from the bible which should not be the case in this forum, I have to add the most important DON'T FORGET TO SHOW "LOVE" Love have no hard feelings. Love thy neighbor as thyself. If we practice this, we will read no more ...........
