yes, i totally agree with GM68 and O&G counters are for longer term investment, it is actually a good time to collect if you have bullet, when the oil price rise to USD60-70pb, you will miss the boat.

（吉隆坡13日訊）柏力賽石油（PERISAI，0047，主板貿服股）債券持有人委任國際會計公司畢馬威（KPMG）擔任財務顧問，協助與柏力賽石油談判，尋求方案解決債券違約問題。

柏力賽石油的新加坡債券持有人拉威姆萊卡通過電話向《彭博社》指出，柏力賽石油已和債券持有人進行談論，嘗試尋找兩方都能接受的解決方案。

他也說，委任畢馬威旨在打破這長達5個月的僵局。大馬油田服務公司--柏力賽石油在去年10月宣布，無法償還總值1億2500萬新元，利息為6.875%的中期票據（MTN）。

債券違約後，拉威姆萊卡已向大馬法院申請，讓柏力賽石油清盤，並擇定4月17日聆審。

柏力賽石油上週建議，以4%現金，或相等於340萬美元（約1513萬令吉）和發出總值8590萬美元（3億8217萬令吉）的不可贖回可轉換債券股，以償還新加坡債券違約引發的債務，惟債券持有人可能否決這項建議。

畢馬威新加坡發言人郭麗緹（譯音）答复《路透社》電郵詢問時表示，不會就個別公司或情況發表評論。

這批不可贖回可轉換債券股，將在大馬交易所上市和供自由交易，而債券股持有人要在5年後，才能將債券股轉換為柏力賽石油的股票。

值得一提的是，這是柏力賽石油避開與新加坡債券持有人直接交涉長達5個月後，首次召開的非正式會議。

去年10月，新加坡票據持有人基於最終條例和該公司董事經理拿督再努依哲2016年8月份所討論的內容不符，而反對把總值1億2500萬新元的中期票據（MTN）屆滿日從10月3日，展延至2017年2月3日，柏力賽石油也因此宣告違約。

當時，再努依哲答應票據持有人，該公司將保留至少2000萬美元作為債務重組，但最終卻未履行該承諾。

KUALA LUMPUR (March 9): Datasonic Group Bhd has been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the supply of more passport polycarbonate data pages and personalisation services worth RM79.72 million for the Immigration Department, the group said in a statement today.

Datasonic said it had earlier been awarded a five-year contract worth RM284.7 million in 2013 for the supply of 10 million polycarbonate passport data pages. The five-year contract started on Feb 1, 2013 and would end on Jan 31, 2018.

With the latest award, the group said total quantity of passport polycarbonate data pages to be supplied along with personalisation services, has now increased to 12.8 million, while the total contract value has gone up to RM364.42 million.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings and net assets per share of Datasonic Group for financial year ending March 31, 2018, for the duration of the contract, and will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of Datasonic Group,” the statement added.

Datasonic closed up 2 sen or 1.68% at RM1.21 today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM1.63 billion.

Look at the board of director of Perisai, they are not Tom, sick and harry... they definitely having close relationship with Petronas, every counter has its own risk, whether you are dare enough to take it, if goes well then you will be greatly rewarded, invest at your own risk. It is really amazing that Perisai still can be at +ve last quarter.... it will definitely get better and better... oil price is around USD56 now
