Azmin really enjoys talking rubbish, putting politics above people's welfare. Reading Puncak's statement today, though, let me believe that a deal is to be completed soon more than before.

Alas, if the news is true, would have seen huge selling volume by now already

hng33, I have decided after press statement by both Ongkili and Azmin in May to keep my position in Puncak til after Hari Raya in hope Azmin and Ongkili will deliver according to their earlier statements. Hope Azmin would finally deliver.

the 2.90 arrives by dividing 1.5553 billion by number of shares assuming sukuk and warrants will be converted into shares. The big joke is Puncak has over 450 million cash/short term investment already and the warrant conversion will let Puncak pocket another 40 millions. Ignoring its other asset, Puncak's cash itself will be at least 3.70 per share once the deal is completed and sukuk/warrants converted.

Puncak climbs up to 3 gradually and then shoots straight up to 3.60 upon a deal completion announcement... it was in my dream yesterday, sigh!

why the need to dissolve state assembly? Pro-PR PAS state assemblymen can just become independent and keep supporting PR. It's not like this has not happened before, only it's to BN's advantage.

think Hadi also realizes that, should PAS leaves PR, some of PAS members (especially those with state and fed seats) will join PKR or be an independent that support PR. It would be very difficult for BN to retake Selangor

I am reading Puncak's annual report, notice that Puncak has a sizeable land in Mukim of Ijok, Kuala Selangor (approximately 1,000,000 square meter). Has anyone in Selangor had any idea about the potential property development opportunity in this area?

Hng33, if I were not wrong, post special dividend, puncak should still have about RM 3 of cash per share. Including special dividend of RM 1, that's RM 4 of cash! Guess market either has doubt over the completion, or the market has to be truly inefficient right now

Hng33, after disposing water asset n dividend declared,puncak will still have over 1 billion cash. @ 3% interest, puncak shall earn 30 millions a year the least. Thus, puncak will post profit going forward for sure

If can sell puncak @ 3.74 & above, will add some Gamuda, under the hypothesis that Gamuda will be compensated some way or another

if I were not wrong, water tariff should be much higher should contracts are enforced. Think its because water is state issue

To me, Azmin is not interested at all, otherwise, he would have called to make appointment, rather than WRITTING A LETTER. Though, like it or not, should there be a drought and water rationing become serious, they will move faster while claiming the other side is causing the delay... Sigh!

hmm... the best would be to lock Azmin and Ongkili into a room without washroom and deny release until a deal is sealed (by Selangor people?).

I have little faith in Azmin on the water restructuring too. Either he's truly loyal to Selangor people and deem the deal too bad for Selangor or he's real crook sabotaging a deal to benefit himself or PKR. I can only hope for a more decisive Ongkili to push through this deal to take Puncak shareholders off the responsibility to serve water to Selangor for humiliation.

My personal opinion, of course

Think puncak raising price is to only facilitate quicker resolution, at least that's how azmin sees it. Another possibility, ongkili will use wasia to compel azmin if he didn't compromise by then citing supply concern n high potential of much higher cost
