There are rules on continuing disclosure (Chapter 9 of Listing Requirements). It's a JV, the financial impact isn't material enough to warrant immediate announcement.

Bullish2021, to be fair it has increased the div payout by 100%, it paid a interim of 6c already. Full year dividend is 12.5c now compared to 6c last year.

The management has utilised bulk of the cash to settle the debt. I believe dividend could increase further once all the debts are settled this year.

Either Fidelity is on holiday or they sold off all their shares. Hopefully is the latter :)

Fidelity is about to finish dispose of all its stake, there will not be that much of supply again next year. Looking forward for record profit and perhaps divided in Q4 announcement :)

I think FMR will finish dispose of its stakes soon. attractive entry price now as the disposal are well absorbed at RM7 level.

Just like Serba DK, it's unfortunate that one of the substantial investors decided to pare down their stake. However this will not last forever.

In actual fact the share price hovers around RM7+ suggests that the selling is actually well absorbed by market / perhaps another large shareholder. The share price will start moving upward fast once the selling is done.

MFCB is a proven well run company. Just be patient and wait for the next catalysts (a) even better Q4 profit from Don Sahong, (b) higher dividend, (c) potential LSS project to materialise...

No idea whether it will x3 or not, but oil price did not recover, in fact it has dropped to around USD41 - 42 from USD45 - 46.

Looking at ASP alone would not tell a complete picture. One should focus on margin spread (ASP - Naphtha Cost) instead.

I guess the Philippines has different practice. That's only media release / news artilces. I still couldnt find the quarterly financial statements.

Petron Corporation (the parent company) will release quarterly result tmr, but it wont have financial detail of Malaysian unit (referring to Q1 annoucement).

Petronm usually release at the final week of the month.

The industry is having a good time now (increasing operating margin). Don't get too worried because of the seemingly high price (in absolute value).

Remember even F&N could rise from RM17+ to RM25+ within 6 mnths last year, when the industry they operate in was having great time (low commodity price boosted their margin).

And this is exactly the perfect time for refiners :)
