For me, my plan is not affected by the comments in this forum.

CEO Karim's mouthpiece seems to remind me of this.

America has been fighting the Taliban for 20 years in Afgan. Got no where, lost American lives and spent lots of $$.

With this pullout, does it mean that when the Taliban forms its Government, ie. to say all those that were in hiding are now comfortably in public and more surveillance be done to identify their critical commanders, that one day, America could conduct a "operation clorox" aka Bin Laden style on all of the Taliban at one go?

SERBA Dinamik Holdings Bhd has reiterated that it will make an immediate announcement on the outcome of its special independent review (SIR) upon completion of the findings by its special independent reviewer Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn Bhd (EY).

In a Bursa Malaysia filing dated Sept 6, the global integrated oil & gas (O&G) service provider said EY has been furnishing its independent non-executive directors with progress updates on a bi-weekly basis.

On Sept 2, the company’s audit and risk committee chairman Johan Mohamed Ishak told FocusM that the timeline and submission of the SIR pertaining to certain accounting matters flagged by its former external auditor KPMG PLT rests solely with EY.

Above all else, the matter is under the prerogative of EY who will be directly reporting its findings to Bursa Malaysia.

“On its part, Serba Dinamik has given a full cooperation to EY with regard to the SIR,” he pointed out. “Our estimation is that the SIR will most likely be made public in 4Q 2021”.

Johan was responding to an opinion expressed by the Minority Shareholders Watch Group (MSWG) CEO Devanesan Evanson that it has been close to two months now yet the global integrated oil & gas (O&G) service provider has not announced an indicative date as to when the SIR report will be made available.

“The SIR is not an external audit of the financial statements and its scope is limited to the matters highlighted by KPMG,” Devanesan pointed out in a recent weekly newsletter. “Surely, between the company and EY – by now – they should be able to iron out an indicative date for the release of the SIR report and the findings thereof.”

Devanesan added Serba Dinamik should provide an indicative date as to when the SIR report can be made available to provide some comfort to minority shareholders.

Johan also dismissed allegations that Serba Dinamik is purportedly trying to delay the release of the SIR findings.

“We are equally as desperate to await the outcome of the SIR report as we are looking forward to close a black chapter in the company’s corporate history. But this is not without logistical complications due to meeting requirements of the movement control order (MCO) policies by the Securities Commission (SC) and EY,” he justified.

“Nobody has gained anything from what has transpired since mid-May; Serba Dinamik has seen 75% of its market capitalisation wiped out from RM6 bil to RM1.55 bil today”.

Unless the SIR is released soonest, Devanesan has also raised concerns that the external audit deadline of Oct 31 for Serba Dinamik’s accounts for financial year ended June 30, 2021 could be extended which would add further uncertainty to minority shareholders.

Serba Dinamik was unchanged at 40 sen with 3.91 million shares traded, thus valuing the company at RM1.49 bil. – Sept 9, 2021

How can EY confirm KPMG's issues when post balance sheet events come into play?

Eg. Diputed revenue and trade debtor where customer paid SD after 31/3/2021? How then? Still an issue?

Most of the Investment banks fund had unloaded Serbak shares except Public Mutual fund still holding 84 mil Serbak shares. this could be the reason Public Bank IB still actively update Serba and gave the highest TP of 0.44.

Many don't have idea on this.

Last Friday transaction 13mil share while Bstead disposed 6mil share nearly half of total transaction. Wow!!! Gameover, do you know why the major shareholder has contracdict view to you? Why Bstead CEO make SELL call sinc ehe is also Pharma President? Why? Why tell me why?

For me, better focus on Qr and EY report.

When it comes to Business reporting in Malaysia, the Gold Standard has always been the now defunct Business Times .

And then we have TheEdge, started by a banker and filled with mostly ex Business Times staff.

The Serba Dinamik saga, is going to make or break the Edge, in more ways then one can imagine, , as some of its editorial staff have crossed the line in their reporting.

There is something called credible reporting and something called a witch hunt.

As I said in the previous article that the market has given a premium to KPMG's credibility by a whooping 79.20 per cent that it is correct on the major and not minor issues of the audit.

In the event KPMG is not right by a margin of that size, I am afraid the Edge won't
be able to hide behind fair comment.

I was from the Business Times, and the first thing we learned was to piss straight.

I was taken aback on The Edge's narrative about auditors getting sued in Malaysia as something out of the ordinary. Try this for BREAKFAST ; Ekovest versus Deloitte.

Kuala Lumpur: Pharmaniaga Bhd menjangkakan perniagaan vaksin Covid-19 akan menjadi penyumbang utama pendapatan kumpulan dalam tempoh beberapa tahun akan datang.

Pengarah Urusan Pharmaniaga, Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope berkata, berdasarkan data Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO), pandemik itu dijangka memberi impak kepada dunia sehingga 2025.


Beliau berkata, ketika ini juga, berdasarkan populasi penduduk dunia, kadar penerimaan vaksin Covid-19 masih belum mencapai 30 peratus.

Justeru, katanya, kumpulan yang mempunyai kemampuan berterusan pengeluaran vaksin isi siap itu mempunyai kelebihan dan kapasiti untuk terus membekalkan vaksin kepada negara lain selain Malaysia.

"Kami melihat potensi ini dan akan membangunkan kemudahan pengeluaran bagi menampung permintaan daripada pasaran luar.

"Malah, anak syarikat milik penuh kumpulan, Pharmaniaga LifeScience Sdn Bhd (PLS) akan mengeluarkan vaksin Sinovac isi siap dua dos setiap botol. Ini dilaksanakan selepas mendapat kelulusan Bahagian Regulatori Farmasi Negara (NPRA).

"Ia sekali gus akan meningkatkan kapasiti pengeluaran daripada dua juta kepada empat juta dos sebulan bermula Ogos ini," katanya selepas taklimat media prestasi kewangan suku kedua berakhir 30 Jun 2021 secara maya, semalam.

Zulkarnain berkata, peningkatan pengeluaran vaksin isi siap itu juga membolehkan Pharmaniaga memperluaskan pengedaran vaksin Sinovac ke pasaran Asia Tenggara dan Afrika.

Beliau berkata, dengan 700 juta penduduk di Asia Tenggara dan 1.3 bilion di Afrika, ia bakal memberikan potensi pengembangan yang kukuh kepada kumpulan.

"Selepas Pharmaniaga berjaya mengedar dan membekalkan 20.4 juta dos vaksin Sinovac kepada kerajaan Malaysia, kami menjangkakan terdapat potensi malah berupaya untuk memasuki perniagaan eksport vaksin isi siap.

"Ketika ini, kami dalam perbincangan akhir dengan Sinovac Life Sciences Co Ltd bagi tujuan memudahkan urusan eksport vaksin. Walaupun ada persaingan sengit, kumpulan tetap memberi fokus meningkatkan operasi bagi memanfaatkan potensi besar di pasaran," katanya.

Zulkarnain berkata, kumpulan juga sudah menghantar beberapa dokumen untuk semakan NPRA bagi membolehkan vaksin Sinovac diberikan kepada penduduk berusia antara 12 hingga 17 tahun.

Beliau berkata, kumpulan menjangkakan terdapat pertambahan permintaan vaksin Sinovac bagi tujuan suntikan penggalak dalam masa terdekat, sebagai perlindungan tambahan kepada varian virus Covid-19 yang lebih agresif.

Ditanya sama ada Pharmaniaga akan mengeluarkan vaksin sendiri, Zulkarnain berkata, dengan kepakaran dan kemudahan kumpulan ketika ini, ia dijangka dapat dikeluarkan menjelang 2024.

"Langkah pengeluaran vaksin dimulakan sejak 2018 dan kedatangan pandemik Covid-19 mempercepatkan lagi penyelidikan serta pembangunan vaksin kumpulan.

"Kumpulan juga sudah melabur sehingga RM200 juta bagi tujuan ini. Kami merasakan penting untuk mengeluarkan vaksin sendiri kerana tidak banyak negara mempunyai keupayaan dalam pengeluarannya.

"Vaksin keluaran Pharmaniaga juga akan menjadi vaksin halal, yang mempunyai potensi pertumbuhan lebih luas," katanya.

Pada suku kedua berakhir 30 Jun 2021, Phamaniaga merekodkan peningkatan keuntungan sebelum zakat dan cukai kepada RM22.2 juta berbanding RM14.3 juta tempoh sama tahun lalu.

Keuntungan bersihnya juga meningkat 45 peratus kepada RM13.9 juta berbanding RM9.6 juta manakala pendapatan pada tempoh dikaji melonjak 82 peratus kepada RM1.2 bilion berbanding RM646 juta suku sama tahun lalu.

Peningkatan positif kewangan kumpulan disumbangkan oleh permintaan yang lebih tinggi dari konsesi, bukan konsesi dan perniagaan di Indonesia.

Peningkatan ketara dalam perniagaan bukan konsesi adalah disebabkan oleh penjualan vaksin Sinovac Covid-19 kepada Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM).
