I am positive that ekovest can make at least RM 40 mil profit this quarter. Anything more would give a great push for this counter. QR result in less than 18 days.

I think the directors are catching the dividend window before it becomes ex on the 28th Dec

I am sure Ekovest would generate some decent profits. I witness major progress on SPE from my apartment over the last 6 months. I know the stock took a heavy beating but I am confident of this counter rebounding in the next one to two years. The major shareholder being out of the radar for quite some time also I see as positive note with the current government. I am sure that he is hatching some good plan to be in action again. Hopefully this counter would shine again but I wont expect miracle this year.

This stock is worth to keep as long as it has the concession assets. I am happy for the people picking up the shares at this current as they are getting it at 50 to 60% discount. Yes this is a disappointing year for Ekovest maybe next year too cannot unlock value but I am sure sometime down the road the scenario would be better.

This means the sharks are picking up on negative sentiments. Soon you will see some small fireworks. Then it will be quiet again.

Maybe tomorrow got QR and announcement. Hope all is well like last Qtr or better. But looking at the general economy anything is possible.

Hope this time 5 sen dividend as June was free of GST. Should reward the shareholders when possible as 1Q17 no dividend due to IRB case.

On May 17 Tun Daim said a comprehensive paper would be done on toll abolishment in 3 weeks. I think he is finding it difficult to undo what he has created way back in 1984 which was further improved by the public administration since then.

No news means good news, With the GST abolishmment it would further enhance the toll division income. Hope this time it would be 3 cents dividend this year.

watch out for announcement on Iwcity tomorrow evening.

I also believe a good dividend payout would further break the co relation with iwcity which the potential is not unlocked yet but being played on speculation.

Interesting to know how much dividend would be declared as this month 4th quarter announcement would be out. Long term investors and institutional holders need to be enticed plus i think the controlling holders also requires cash.

ESOS 22.6 mil is just an accounting gimmick by increasing equity (share option reserve pg 3 of QR announcement) by 22.6m and impacting PNL (Pg 1 Note 1 of the QR announcement) retrospective to satisfy the accounting standards without any actual impact on operation, cash position or state of affairs of the company. All those company that gave ESOS during the last 3 financial year will have this impact either on this quarter or next quarter result.
