moonslayer, Batu Gantong will stay as land is limited in Penang island. Horse racing is the king of sport. If you are not a compulsive gambler,it's ok to enjoy and follow the sport. I still survive almost 50 years in the game.

moonslayer274, I did hear the news, however it's not official. Hopefully they defer or abort the plan. Luckily Clyde is based in Selangor Turf Club. Today, let's watch Bahvest unfolds his magic. He is in tip top condition and is raging to show his prowness.

Many will be rich here when Bahvest touches 50 sen.Nothing is impossible in share market. Just like the story of Jumbo Jet. Even Ivan Alan flew in legendary British jockey Lester Piggott to ride and captured the Queen Elizabeth Cupwith fashion in SG for proud owner,Lee Ah Seong.

@bojed, have to stay above 0.25 sen, yeah?

Think both of them were exported to USA to continue their careers there. Over here they had to carry maximum weight to run and there were no contender .They won a few races there according to chinese paper.

The best sprinters were He's Dawan and Star Prince. Both won 6 or 7 in a row ?

Oh yes...Agasam is the Indonesian stable. That's great, moonslayer. I know an old racehorse...11 years old and was racing then. Moonbeam was the name. Quite a good bred.Bougoure was also a top trainer too.

moonslayer, no idea of Hubline. Never involvoed in this counter. 1974 long distance was dominated by these 4 horses...Firebrand, Chaya Timur2 , Showgirl V and Indian Rebel. Most of the times, these 4 were in top 4 placings.Bahvest Gold is set to become Paititi Gold before spourting wings to challenge overseas.

moonslayer274, indeed...the best horse from Inderaputra was Chaya Timur which won the Tunku Gold Cup in KL in 1974. I was there too as a primary schokl boy then. My father and uncle were
horse racing addicts and I tagged along too. At times,we went to the nearby stables to watch the horses been groomed. Auric also had a great horse in Tien An Mun.Again, those were fond memories of the great days then.

Moonslayer, my favourite horse owner was Auric stable which was owned by the Sungs of Hong Kong . They had great horses then, mostly cup winners lije Man of Courage,Best Bold, Ten Hugs,Starman, Ultraman, Sir Toby, Jingle Bell etc. Unfortunately Jerry Sung was shot in KL. A few years later, they all moved back to Hong Kong. Many great owners those days were Tan Sri Amar Wee Hood Teck of Sarawak. Inderaputra which was owned by Sultan of Pahang, Tunku Abdul Rahman, the Indinesian tycoon...can't recall his name, TS Tan Chin Nam , just to name a few

Moonslayer, correct. His Dawan was unbeatale like Star Prince. Ironically, Star Prince was owned by Thwaites before he became a horse trainer. Wow! those were the days!

Bahvest will be a Jumbo Jet in the making. From the lowest Class 6 to Cup winners. Bahvest, from a penny stock to become a blue chip.

moonslayer, so sad, R.Rajoo was shot in 1991 in Penang. He was a friend of my close friend. This Ipoh jockey was soft spoken and friendly and mostly rode for Teh Choon Beng as second stringer. Ivan Alan was the the champion trainer then, in early seventies. Les Coleman mostly rode for him. He had many cup winners like Firebrand,Sentak Bulan,Blue Star etc. Alan too was shot but survived and he moved to Hing Kong.Malcom Thwaites was a fanstactic trainer and he too was a champion before the Shirley story in Penang which involved billionaire Boon Siew's son that ended his career. He trained tge unbeatable Star Prince.

moonslayer, fully agreed about the hawker food in Jln Ampang Race Course where the fish ball noodle is the best in town. Some Malay stalls were equally good like the big and juicy sotong. Same in Batu Gantong.I was involved with horses in 1973 as a small boy n not even a teenager.1974 was good time for the late aussie jockey, Jim Johnson was bagged 99 winners. He , mostly rode for trainer Teh Choon Beng n for Auric Stable.Better stop as it is not relevant here.Btw,Clyde is a friend so you better engage someone for Bahvest Gold.

moonslayer274, yes he is Charles Leck's son. A humble and friendly Singaporeon up and coming jockey, bagged 2 titles last year, both apprentice and senior. Like Bahvest which is eyeing Melbourne Cup, Dubai Cup and Saudi Cup,he's too will emulate the late legendary jockey Lester Piggot.

@ Income, just some comments for joyvest and it becomes suicidal for you. Steady bro. Moonslayer274 and I are now scouting for the best jockey for Bahvest Gold. Moon suggested engaging Frankie Dettori or Ryan Moore but I prefer a local talent, Singaporeon Clyde Leck, a humble and friendly up and coming jockey. Bahvest is taking a rest before resuming its upcycle.

Bursa is a different market. Here market movers dictate the play n not fundamental rules. Of course the market must be condusive for such a big play up. Bahvest needs to break 0.26 sen resistant before testing 0.30 sen.

moonslayer274,just went thru' some old articles and found out Moonbeam was the winner of Penang Gold Cup in 1969. No wonder he could run at the ripe age of 11. Btw are you a member of the GOAT, Secretariat group? Nice to watch the video where he toyed his rivals by an unbeatable 31 lengths in 1973 Belmont Stakes.
