...private placement and bonus issue are subtle message from the management that company's prospect is good in the near term...they expect the demand for the company share to increase slowly but surely....as such the company wants to add liquidity..i.e. increase the number of shares available so as not to cause sudden spike in price due to excessive demand neither a sudden drop when speculators or day traders take profit...

Ah...time to accumulate...when people are fearful,you get greedy...when people are greedy,you get fearful....very soon...with the bonus and potential dividend...this counter will only go up...some people are trying to capitalise on retail investors' fear to push down the price so that they can collect it with a song...I am already averaging down...I am so used to these tricks in the market...

...I think the marginal increase in cost as a result of the hike in natural gas tariff could be easily passed on to the buyers as it is more costly for the users to source their needs for steel and iron from else where...

Great opportunity to collect....I am sure fund managers will be grinning from ear to ear....quietly accumulating....later there will be a so called analyst report hailing masteel...and all the retail investorswill start chasing the stock...and the funds will be selling...this goes around and around...my advice to retail investors...time to buy and just keep it...after all there is this bonus issue..and the performance of the company is great...it will only get better in the next 8 to 9 quarters..albeit a little up and down...the company may even decide to reward share holders...especially when there is pressure from the majority share holders..to declare dividend...if the company decides otherwise...it means that..the company needs the fund for further expansion..which in the long term is good news...

....if you have invested in Masteel....and now you feel doubtful about its prospect moving forward...just because someone cast aspersion on its mid to long term prospect.. and you are in panic mode and decide to dump it...then that someone has succeeded in his quest to suppress the price of Masteel so that he or she can swoop it in the cheap...just remember...this is an investment grade stock...when one where to take into account its fundamentals,management ability and prospect going forward..i.e.possibility of dividend payout,bonus etc...

....traders and speculators should be worried...not for those investors with mid to long term view...especially at least until 2020...where the government impose between 20 and 25%.anti-dumping duties for steel bars etc from China....and with all the infrastructure projects in place...this stock will only go north....of course there will be pull backs every now and then....that's where the traders and speculators will get themselves burned...

....i believe to reach the price of RM2.00...it will take between 6 months and 1 year....patience is needed to profit from this counter...

....i did not come across any posting by OTB advising to sell MASTEEL...am i missing something here...in any case....OTB always cautions the forum followers to buy and sell after doing their own homework..etc..

Selling of treasury shares reduces shareholder equities and increases assets..i.e.cash for the company.In Masteel's case..i not sure of the reason for such an undertaking,,,probably the company wants to increase share liquidity in the market ( perhaps...until the bonus issue..).meaning that...the company foresees /believes there will be a continuous demand for the company's shares in the coming days/weeks..

As usual there will be a price adjustment after bonus issue...but as the potential for this company to earn increasing profit in the near to midterm...the price appreciation will go unabated...good possibility of reaching RM 2.00 inspite of the bonus issue...

This stock is for long term..the share price will start accelerating when its revenue from new plant starts production and especially so when it gets transferred to main board....

The growth and stock price acceration of this company will progress unabated once it gets transferred to the main board...aspecially so when instituitional investors swoop down to snap up the stock as it pays regular dividend and on strong footing with a solid growth trajectory.

High likelihood of bonus issue...its just a matter of time...but could be within the next 9 months when the company's revenue and profit improves further as and when the compay starts fulfilling all the contracts...

Based on announcement and news flow, VS's revenue will continue growing for the next few years though it might wobble a bit qoq basis.The co. will keep a steady dividend payout.As such appreciation of the share price will go on abated albeit with a little pull back everyone and then which for a mid to long term investor should be of little concern.

If you are an investor this is one stock that should regularly feature in your portfolio.

One can still buy VS provided one is an investor with mid to long term view...simply because this counter,with it' s current fundamentals is a genuine investment grade stock...especially so when one were take into account all the news flow which i sincerely believe is true with regards to new orders,new products with new overseas client of reputable brand,its venture/associate co. in China and Hong Kong turning around potential chalking up respectable revenue and profit...and finally it's unwavering quarterly dividend payment...to cut to the chase...just buy...by this date next year...you will be laughing all the way to the bank...be warned liability excluded because unpredictable situation may occur..eg.new and potential client may cancel order,overseas ventures may face turbulence,new product may turn out to be defective possibly co open to suit or cancellation of contracts..etc..etc...the choice is yours...i have laid bare the facts for you...now you make the decision....

According to my rough estimate taking into all the positive news flows about the co....it should touch RM 2.50 by Sept of this year...baring any unforseen circumstances..e.g..North Korea getting bombed by America or vice versa.

Looks like directors are gearing to accumulate mother share via warrant.....goes to proof the tremendous potential of this stock...to all genuine investors...just accumulate...as for the speculators...you will have your fingers burned every now and then...and to those who are constantly spewing some negative remarks with the hope of causing panic selling...be my guest..
