Something brewing...sudden spike in volume and price the past couple of days...I suppose some good news...perhaps a potential improvement in earnings anticipated in the coming quarter.? orders from RAPID projects trickling in rapidly??....secured new market in Latin America..especially Brazil..??.perhaps Nautic is making a killing??..or maybe a potential M & A of Pantech with or by other big time O & G players..??

Time to accumulate...???

Outstanding no. of shares...4,090,476,989 unit at par value of RM 0.20....Yes!...you got it right...it is 4.09 billion unit...What is the net value of each of this shares?...How much profit does the company have to make in order to pay a dividend of even RM 0.001...I mean...0.1 sen per share?.. mind you.. not 1 sen but 1/10 of a sen....do your maths...I rest my case...good luck!!!!

There are a lot of things.. I mean advise the author is trying to convey or rather have conveyed.. on the dangers and pitfalls in the stock market arising from a confluence of factors such as massive manipulation,market rigging and so forth... if don't understand...it simply means you are going to be the next meal for the ever hungry wolves...get out now for you don't possess the IQ neither the EQ to be in the stock market business... you will get your fingers..I mean vital organs burnt...!!!

Sell and run...cut your loss...as i said earlier ...heading south precipitiously...to RM 0.235!!!

This is the counter which fulfils most of Warren Buffet's criteria of a good long term value stock...very good chance of splendid returns in three years time...high probability of price doubling or tripling in a year's time...especially if it becomes the target of M & A once its tocotrienol graduates from being a food supplement to an ethical drug...the potential for this stock is enormous...!!!

I notice that the past few days,Hovid's share price is on the down trend...something fishy...seems like the share price is deliberately suppressed...especially if one were to observe its fundamental which is quite solid..EPS - RM0.0267 [ ie 26.7% of par value ],ROE - 13.08%,DY - 5.65%,Leverage - 0.41,positive cash flow i.e RM 23.1 million,accumulated earnings - RM 47 million...its new product for the treatment of liver and stroke is being tested..some lifesyle products going off patent...etc.As such there's a great potential for up ward earnings...so what does this indicate for the future of this stock? ...Res Ipsa Loquitor..so you have this share...and at the moment sweating because of its down trend...hold the horses...if I were you...I won't lose sleep...BUT STRICTLY NOT FOR CONTRA PLAYERS!!!

CIMB's report.?.I for one never ever acted on their report...I have my reasons....as for Kenanga's... you may not regret..!!! ...LIABILITY EXCLUDED!!!

PN17 companies are what they are..!!There is no such thing as good PN17 companies...for the simple fact that they have been designated as such...for a reason..a PN17 company maybe perhaps becomes a ` good' company when they have fulfilled all the requirements attached to their upliftment!!...than an investor may consider buying these companies...buying into these companies based on all kind of rumours or statement coming from major share holders and interested parties is an act of getting one into a well setup trap..lets not greed prevail lest in the end one will end losing ones hard earned money...in the process blaming the authorities of not protecting investors..bla..bla..bla!!

PN17 companies are denoted in red by Bursa as a warning to potential investors..but for many greed prevails over commonsense...hence their lost...they are the creators of their own down fall...as such can one blame others.i.e the authorities,the manipulators etc??

The show is over...! All those small time investors investing their hard earned money...better get the hell out of this counter now....don't say you have not been warned....you may go in after the quarterly result has been announced..that if it showed growth in revenue and profit...JUST MY 2 CENTS WORTH OPINION...take it at your own risk....liability excluded!!!

Something seems to be brewing...i can't seem to place it...but there seems to be some tell tale signs...probably something to do with the new co. they bought over...BUT CONTRA PLAYERS BEWARE...if you decide to accumulate for short to mid term...could be quite rewarding...BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Fundamentally a very good stock - Leverage : 0.262,ROE : 12.995,Rolling 4 Quarters net profit : 2.254,Cash flow positive i.e RM 5,138,000...listed in Forbes,getting contracts constantly..from gov agencies etc,...no regrets if you are not a contra player....BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Same pattern as Sumatec...a little pull back to shake off contra players...if my analysis is correct will continue up trend...perhaps in the afternoon session or on Monday..

If one were to read in between the lines the statement by the Board of Directors as per their response to UMA inquiry by Bursa,it is clear that there is a good possibility that some kind of negotiations or another may take place in the near future...which may lead to better performance by the company in terms of revenue and profitability..this is evident from today's trade when there is no dumping of shares big time after the response to Bursa...no panic selling and so forth...in fact the up trend seems to be intact...and some of the trades are in large volume...another Sumatec in the making...just thinking aloud!!.

Please do more write up on day trading..especially as to the best timing of entry and exit...what are the basic elements of technical analysis one has to pay special attention to..etc.

Moral of the story...don't dabble in stock market in the believe that you can win big by taking the advice of the analysts without knowing what you are getting into...their recommendations are just that..mere recommendations..do you own research...if you do not know two hoots of finance,fundamentals,margin of safety,interest rates,global economy etc,etc..just stay away...for own sake...don't waste your hard earned money!!

I can't agree more with your opinion and your diagnosis and prognosis of TDM and his perennial antics to be forced appointed as Proton Chairman!But what I am sure to happen in weeks or perhaps months to come is that...our `beloved' ex PM will find ways and means to force potential car buyers espcially the middle class to buy Proton...he will find ways and means to circumvent whatever trade agreements we are party to i.e. AFTA and force the prices of foreign marques to go up one way or the other...thus forcing locals [ those low and middle income earners] to revert back to buying the so called national cars..My 2 cents worth of advice to those planning to buy a foreign model soon...rush to your nearest dealer and sign in the dotted line..

Those who make money in the stock market are those level headed people...those who think strait,make judgements based on company and market fundamentals,close their ears to all the rumblings around,make decisions to buy or sell when the calling is really tough,blame themselves for their decision and loses instead of others...

The unabated uptrend in share price the past week is definitely an harbinger to something very positive!

Will someone please sell Pantech...I want to acculmulate as much as I can...currently the only stock i am holding...not enough...paying dividend constantly...dividend yield better than fixed deposit..well managed and transparent...holds good future... i feel this is another Coastal Contract in the making..most likely institutional investors will start accumulating once other O & G counters are fully valued..i only see one thing...price going north in the mid to long term...not for speculators,please!

I feel Pantech has a better potential than Benalec to ride the O & G theme! Well my reason... good EPS,good dividend,ownership of foreign company with good prospect etc.

From Friday's volume and closing price,I would surmise that the up coming quarterly result is fantastic...i won't want to miss the boat...accumulation is d key word...hesitation will end in frustration!

I am sure this counter will start moving up in tandem with other O & G counters if the latest quarterly result shows sign of further up trend in revenue and profit.

Is this counter a possible target of M&A?

I have accumulated Pantech and holding it for the long term for I believe the only way it will go is north as there are lot of developments in the O & G sector,especially with monumental capex by Petronas,Nautic performance,potential M & A by Pantech or of Pantech itself.the list goes on and on...
