Recently Tenaga went to a low of 13.20. Guys were waiting to buy at 12 or 12.50. That was only 4 sessions ago. Today Tenaga is 14.14 with a high at 14.20.

By the way, the breakout usually is accompanied by a throwback. The %age throwback is anybody's guess - but 63.5 or a little under should be the support.

SKP, which was suspended on Monday, has proposed to acquire three of Tecnic’s operating companies for MYR200m. Maintain BUY. Following the earnings upgrade from the proposed acquisition, we raise our TP to MYR0.85 (from MYR0.75), pegged to a FY16 P/E of 11x, a 21% upside. We are positive on the acquisition as it enables SKP to consolidate its position as a leading plastic component manufacturer.

If you consider the situation of Scientex as similar, then you could expect the bigger company to go higher in prices. In the case of Scientex, after purchasing GWall, it went from about 2.50 to its current price of 7.50, all in less than 9 months and analysts are expecting higher. Of course, Scientex and Skpres are different but Skpres-Tec merger bears similarity in terms of synergy , efficiency, integration etc2

Some politicians deceive themselves and/or the public by making it appear that saving that amount of money is virtuous by the Govt. It is not. The role of Govt. is not the same as that of a family saving some for a rainy day. To hoard that kind of money and then capitalize on it to appear as if it is the right thing to do amounts to cheating the public. It is pure ineptness and nonsensical.

Taxation is not the answer to budget deficits. Budget deficits are desirable to a certain extent but becomes unsustainable from overspending. Ultimately, the people has to bear the brunt for things gone wrong. Therefore, it is right to go against a Govt. that has overspent. In the case of Khalid Ibrahim, he was not able to spend for the people and thus why should the people pay? What on earth was he doing with the $3 billion? I pay taxes and other Govt. dues. I want to live better,in better surroundings, in a nice country; not to watch Khalid Ibrahim pile up a meaningless hoard of money. He just failed in his duty in Govt.

Spend. Brighten up and beautify the State. Mahathir: Govt. is about spending - is absolutely right.
Petaling Jaya has been dangerous for pedestrians in the last few years. Street lighting has been poor. I can say, many areas are 'lighted' because of the shops around and of course this is insufficient. Roads have pot holes which strain cars and are dangerous to motorcyclists. Disgraceful! What's the use of all the money collected? Why should we continue to pay Govt. dues when we do not see the money being used for our benefit?

It appears to me that Iris is working out an ascending triangle. Such patterns are bullish. In this case this triangle is a reversal triangle rather than a continuous one.

David, I've on 1st Sept given my thots on putting stops. For Mpay, the stops still hold and until something significant comes around, I am afraid there will be pressure. The picture will change overtime for even better or for worse, but come around later and see what the people here say.

Persistent buying suggests attempts at breaching a resistance - the inverse neckline. It might even have already succeeded, but I would think that 95cts would confirm success with the uptrend further continuing earnestly. I would certainly then say crossing 1.00 is easy. The selling seems less earnest than buying as a matter of comparison this period of time.

chy72, follow reccka's suggestion. Put in a stop. I think there are people here who could help out. My stop was 27 cts. and I cut off at 26.5/ Your next stop should be
24.25cts though anywhere above it is also a cut point. Taking a loss is a tough pill to swallow but take it. There is a saying in trading: cut your losses short and let your profits run. Wish you all well.

People, for Mpay, TRS is very significant. Therefore, there is time still to buy whereas, TRS is insignificant to Iris -revenue wise. From a Govt. viewpoint, I think growing Mpay is better than Iris as Iris is pretty well grown.

Okay guys, I got stopped out @27cts. Cannot be helped. It is a trading discipline. Like Kukumanis said above, stay out if you have no shares in this counter. Otherwise, technical weakness has set in as a result of the heavy selling. However, should Mpay get the TRS (% is important), then a re-visit is encouraged.
