the news. Distributing bonus shares to shareholders, on the other
hand, reveals that the company is in good financial health. The news
will have positive effects on the share price, as investors’ confidence

the stock.

What could possibly help GenM? ANything new would have to be in compliance with the Control Movements. With this covid overhang I doubt TSLKT can do much. The dividends given are for him to help support GenM. He has no choice and I think you could say he is quite brave becos' he has now gotten GenM and Genting Uk to open. Marginal profits to him is better than being closed. Ppl like Tony Fernandez also likes to "open" Malaysian borders but that is another point to moot.I think a number of qtrs more and TSLKT would be losing hair.He has no more hair in Ghk while TF is likely to be bald.

That's rite stocktrade...RM603...and so a family of 6 will cost the whole mth's pay/savings and if that is extended, I think the anti-vaxxers win.

With vaccines you need more healthcare workers and more gloves because you need to inject more people.
I just hope vaccines will not cost an arm and a leg otherwise this pandemic will not end in 2 years time according to WHO.

It is safe to assume this equals world's current need of 308.46 billion pieces of gloves.

Top Glove's Chairman TSLWC in his message just a few days ago said in words to this effect: TG only commands 26% of the world's market share. If you work this out, there is an incredible shortage of gloves in the world. Uncle KYY was right all the time.

The flu in the US kills >60000 every year. Covid19 + flu + others = many deaths. All this requires PPE and the front line is now very particular because they have seen many of the colleagues died. Rightly so because the Admin. had not been serious in the past few months. Flu struck them a no. of years back but till now the deaths have not been prevented and it is a yearly occurrence. Covid19 is more lasting and painful to live with besides being highly infectious esplly the D614G strain. One of the ways to prevent it is the aspect of touch. This means wearing of gloves and I think the British Parliament even debated it.Gloves are a small cost but if you do not take care now, the pain will be very costly later on.

Ppl will sell Genm and Genting tmrrw but clearly they are not the ones in trouble. It will be just an emotional response that occurs in markets. Genm would be in trouble if covid19 is found there or something.

At 75.5% Ghk, he is quite broke for cash to pump in. All those % means nothing just like he has to retrench Genting(M) Bhd. No cash or = not enough money.

Tan Sri LKT and fly owns 75.5% of Ghk(Star Cruises in the past). TSLKT also owns 40% of Genting thru' which he has interests in Resort World Las vegas and separately, others like Genting S'pore which owns 100% RW sentosa.

@Johngenting. In 2015 Genm sold its 17,8% stake in Ghk to LKT. Genm has nothing to do with Ghk now, only LKT and fly owning 75.5% Ghk now.

It appears that the western world is still stuck in the 1st wave!

Today, out of all the healthcare stks, 5 were limit up while the THKS FANGS were very very strong with TG closing near its high of 26.10 @ 26.08. The gloves are incredibly strong!

I've personally seen a number of times people here wear gloves. Tdy I saw a lady wore gloves. And why not? Afterall touching of surfaces is a major cause of transmission when the face is then touched because those surfaces have been contaminated. Even if you lockdown but you still allow for touching all over as a matter of speaking, the disease will keep spreading. Therefore the question of gloves becoming mandatory is an important one.

It is very clear more and more gloves would be needed over the time of the pandemic. It will be even more so if there is competition for a solution to the virus problem. Hence it is likely Top Glove will cross higher than Rm40.

Vaccines are not the issue. It is about gloves. There will be vaccination and the need for gloves would be more. Testing might just have to increase to resolve the virus issue for a while. This also means the usage of more gloves. I think with vaccines, the demand for gloves would increase.

Dayang price is not likely to come down on Monday.
It will move towards 3.20 first with the target of more than 4 this year.
Dayang is really the biggie in its business and dwarfs all the others.
Its profits alone this year, more than 2018 by 71 million @ 236 million, suggest prices will go higher.
It is the same pattern for e.g. Scientex or Timecom.
Demand for this share has pushed the PE to 13.3 and will continue to PE of 20.
It all means that you cannot buy back cheaper than you have sold.
Take note.

If you roughly work it out, Datuk Ling Suk Kiong is now sitting on even more shares in Dayang and these are all FREE I think. He is now enjoying the rise in price of Dayang and why should he not?

There were prices of stocks which went to fantastic levels of about RM8 or RM9 if I remember correctly. Mr. KYY was also involved in some of them, I think, and he bought those stocks at very low prices, about RM1+, I think. Good luck guys.

The price of Dayang has gone up and will still be going up inspite of all the " inflaming" to sell along the way. Mr.KYY has put the PE at 12 and an eps the same as the last quarter in words to this effect. Therefore the price might reach 3.30.
How do you bet against such numbers? Btw, Mr. KYY has got a lot of experience with stocks going up in price. In one case, if I remember correctly, he had a profit in excess of RM100 million.

Do not short against Mr.KYY. That is very clear. With his profits, he could in fact push up the price at will.

Dealing fairly with Washington is Trump's way of saying the deal must be in favor of Washington. The current deals are not favorable enough.

nik5007, there isn't enough data for warrants TA but in so far as analysts expect, 1.09 is what and I expect it to be in the region of 1.15. In so far as profitability is concerned this company has been making money qtr on qtr for the last 12 qtrs. The ex. price is .90cts and it is for working capital and debt repayments among others as they get along and there are 1815 days to expiry of the warrants. What you need to realize is that the .90cts is what the company gets only provided the warrants are converted. It is substantial, about 270 million if I remember correctly spread over 5 years but the point is nobody would convert if the mother goes below .90cts. And should the mother go below .90cts and stay there, I seriously think there is trouble in little China.

I am here to help forumers make some money if I can thru' giving my thoughts which can be just worth a penny.In the same way I hope to learn esplly from ppl like you. At this current price of warrants, the mother has got to go up and in my view it should go to about 1.10-1.15 based on current warrant prices. We just have to wait and see.

Caely traded about 1.10 or thereabouts, when the warrants were listed. I think the warrants might have even gone to around 70cts ( I hv forgotten). But it was ok to have the price of Caely come down and this is in relation to the ex. price of .38 cts. In the case of CCK, the exercise price is .90cts and therefore the mother should not go below .90cts. Currently, the price of warrants is encouraging.

Just like in the case of Caely where that company gave free warrants with an ex price of .38 cts, the price of Caely now is .755 last traded while the warrant is .395 last traded.The sum of warrant and ex px gives the warrant a slight premium. The point is the .38cts is the crux.

It is for everyone's consumption.
