Yes penny stocks with volume most suitable to short and can buy more so comm neglible.. I have even short infotech not easy at all for 50sen stock. Just wanted to test my strategy.

I believe u have great experience in this volatile market because u balance the safe bets with the dangerous bets. I have to learn that. Also patience to wait.

Ultimately still have to stick to the plan that is to make $$$$ and not play guns and shootout!!

I sell when I can break even the first purchase cost. I take all the day trades I do shorting as gain or something like that if my stock choice go wrong. Again I think I salah there, u think?
Problem when the stock go down fast I panic lah because I don't keep stock for long...unless bought really good stock otherwise I contra gain when I can. Unless cannot contra gain then I short.
Any advise for me?

For my strategy ...nothing great just trying to protect capital. Every time like to buy 100k units penny stocks then short if price go down. Problem I think when I compare my strategy to yours I sell all 100% then buy 100% but wait for bigger spread - 2 sen or more ( greedy lah)...wait until end of day at whatever price so can hold stock again. I also decide on price to buy back should be able to cover difference between first buying and selling price eg buy 10sen then sell 9 sen when stock price go down and buy back at 8 sen below. I have been successful in some counters but some always ding dong within half sen like wintoni now.

So when do u decide to sell all of ur short counters?

Ohh I know what u mean d... yes like me make quick gain first to reduce exposure right?

Hi tj. Wah... sounds complicated!! I have few questions first then I share mine since u ask.
I understand u use 25% to short and keep 75% to leverage on higher price right? But u q 50% only and ur cost gone up refer below post. I personally use this strategy to average down.....ummm can elaborate please.

I baru use this short strategy since I so "black" / huck...every time think lowest price to enter stock...it goes 2 bids higher then drop 4 bids!! Aiyo so angry that I now buy and wait to drop in price!! Both ways (up or down) also can make money according to some trading guru I read about.

Docasa, yes fear is bane of trading. Always remain calm in times of volatility. I have seen the KLCI go 200 pts no buyers no sellers...that was scary!!!

ruslimz: I agree expensive. Actually plan to buy when the cornerstone starts dumping after 3 mths. But what's the PE appropriate price u think? Sometimes there's money to be made in times of trouble.

For those who are still holding ASTRO I think we need to be rational and not get bogged down by too much negative sentiment currently. The stock still has fundamentals so if your line is full now then divest some to have cash flow to average down when it goes down further. Retail players always get full brunt back lash of "big corporate conspiracy", so to speak, whether Astro Malaysia or Facebook America. ASTRO share buyers don't give up. There is always a base price, Chua Ma Yu or others don't get shares for free !!
